That's why he is a good test, it's the relentless pressure, and he makes you pay if you make mistakes.

Has Martinez been tested? Seems to be a destructive puncher these days

Gill outboxed Kiko easily enough, but couldn't handle the power.
As soon as he got thru' in the 2nd, The Writing was On The Wall.

5 KD win and who doesn't love Kiko ?! :yay:
What a career he's had.

Kiko fought great. Showed the difference in levels.

Gill looks like he’s got a badly broken nose which caused his eyes to swell too. He’s tough to keep going but needs to keep away from bangers.

Whenever I watch Kiko I always think ‘Rendall Munroe…..underrated wins’.

Gill is a flash but he is also frail and the Tinoco situation wasn't an isolated case.

I am keeping a half-eye on Cully, talking about the rest of the card.

Am I the only one who thinks coldwell should of thrown the towel in the KD before. To me it looked like Gill wanted out without giving in.

In round 2 I was thinking Kelly/Avanesyan. I still just about gave Gill the round but Kiko was winning the fight.

Fancied Martinez for the upset here, Gill just too vulnerable around the whiskers, plenty heart but he couldn't keep Martinez off of him, down 4 times, all different shots as well by Kiko, lovely 1/2 for the first KD in the 3rd then a peach of a right uppercut for second knockdown of the round, Gill looked battered and bruised already, an overhand right for the KD in the 4th and a cracker of a left hook for the finisher, real crafty pro is Martinez, if Zelfa can pull off the upset next week I wouldn't be against him giving Martinez a rematch

Edit- Barrett up at Super Feather, forgot that

He did get up quickly and wasn't staggering about. He was KD'd in the past and went on to win - so Dave gave him the benefit of the doubt. Its not like Kiko is unbeatable.

Yep, Wood can cope with the pressure, and can bang.
But I am concerned Wood is prone to trading, and that is a mistake :OhYes:

Leigh woods just been fornicating about waiting for Leo ay?

crazy that conlan will get 2 fights to end the year after being stopped. but wood probably wont fight again 2022 since his march victory.

Yeah - it’s a shame he was injured for the Lara fight.

Yeah. I’m not sure I’d have picked this as the co-main.
