Jonathan Gonzalez beat Shokichi Iwata by UD to retain his WBO Light Flyweight title(117-111, 116-112 x2) very good fight I had it a closer 115-114 for Gonzalez, good blend of styles, Gonzalez nicked the first couple by boxing Iwata from the southpaw stance but in the 2nd there was a headclash which had Gonzalez down for a couple of minutes and he lost his way for next few rounds, constantly complaining and trying to hold, Iwata was a bit reckless with the head and low blows mind, he's strong as a bull, throws vicious right hands to head and body and bullied Gonzalez
Gonzalez got his mojo back in the second half and boxed, moved and countered Iwata right jabs and hooks as well as the straight left, Iwata only 9-0 and his inexperience showed as he chased Gonzalez constantly getting picked off, I did give him the last but still not enough to win
Gonzalez against the winner of the main event surely next

Re: DAZN Japan card this Tuesday
Teraji knocks out Kyoguchi in the 7th to add the WBA Light Fly title to his WBC strap, absolute masterclass, just systematically took him apart round after round, controlled the distance beautifully, softened Kyoguchi up with the jab and nailed him with rights, Kyoguchi had some nice work but was being overwhelmed, Teraji poured it on in the 4th then dropped Kyoguchi with a quality right hand in the 5th, was on verge of stopping him before Kyoguchi came back blazing and had Teraji going back taking shots, incredible from Kyoguchi, Teraji boxed back into things next round before knocking Kyoguchi out with a sweet right hand in the 7th
An enjoyable one sided fight, Teraji putting in one the performances of the year, fancy him strongly to beat Gonzalez next
