It seems a hearing concerning Conor Benn’s
adverse findings is imminent.

It is my opinion that Conor Benn must be sanctioned for a prohibited substance being found in his 2 FAILED tests. A satisfactory argument of contamination will NOT be given.

However, if a ban is given its imo going to be a token gesture due to again imo a successful argument will be given that the prohibited substance found were only trace elements and not seen as performance enhancing.

Rumour is the punishment might not even be a ban and could be a fine.

Worse still, satisfactory explanations will not be given into the BBBofC role in this whole saga.

The BBBofC are seen by some fight fans NOT fit for purpose because it seems they knew of the first adverse finding at the end of August and knew of the second adverse finding on 23 Sep but did not pull the plug on the fight until the week of the fight.

The promoters of the fight are also facing criticisms but will not be sanctioned for their role in the whole saga.

Sadly this whole saga is going to get worse.

Like these guys they speak sence , and i agree 100% with Catteral , get rid of Bbbc , get another body with some sort of govt control ,, why because quite simply the promoters and self interest high profile people , cannot bully them ,, especielly with threats of law suits

Hopefully, the one thing that has come out of it is surely no one in their right mind can think Eubank Vs Benn can happen now?

How can they ban someone who doesn’t hold a licence?

Benn is very quiet unless I’ve missed something, I was expecting them to go on the offensive

Hearn was saying wait for Benn to give his interviews, you'll understand. Benn gave a couple of selected interviews with his lawyers presesnt and came across terrible as he generally does.

Since then - Nothing. I believe they are going at it behind the scenes as we speak.

I didn’t think he came off terribly. I was just expecting a lot more in the way of a plausible excuse.

Perhaps I’m in the minority then. I didn’t think he came off well but I just dismissed it as he didn’t add much to what’s already been said. It didn’t make me think any worse of him although that be pretty hard to do at the moment.

at one point Khan says “I hope he (Benn) gets away with it.” Probably didn’t mean it like that but there you go

I turned it off when he pretty much said all Asians should stick together.
I know he tries to come across well but just wasn’t in the mood to watch more.
Great teeth though.
