Impressive.
2nd KD was especially brutal.

Needs to fight a long mover over 12 then he's ready for a run at Euro/WT.... :box:

Ball dishing out a demolition job on Rubio there, left hook central, dropped him with a sweet left for the first KD, Rubio not badly hurt but the second one put him flat on his back a lot harder, a hard right landed before the left put Rubio down a third time, I'm glad the ref let it continue, Rubio still wasn't badly hurt, he just couldn't take the punches, Ball did get caught with a couple of big lefts himself but when he unloaded in Rubio the ref got the stoppage bang on

Hard to tell with unknown Mexicans tbh. You either get a Lara or a pudding… and I suspect Rubio was the latter more than the former.

Great finish mind… but it’s time to see Ball in with a proper test. Forget Kiko… he’s IBF mandatory and Matchroom are likely to have options on him. Makes sense to fight someone like Conlon but again… promotional difficulties.

Dickens, Dogboe or Ward would be ideal next…

Just watched the show. One competitive fight on the show and that was the Fail fight where the ref didn’t even give his opponent a round.

Then we get a load of prospect/journeyman or outmatched opponent fights.

Ball looked great in the main event but his opponent looks like he had a padded record, got the fight confirmed on 2/3 days notice and would have had to fly over late in the day so ended up a mismatch.

I don’t mind the idea of these prospect shows but there needs to be something more competitive. The last 3 fights had opponents with fine records but had any of us on here ever heard of them?

Ball is ranked 12 with the WBO which Ward, Dogboe and Dickens are also ranked. No mando for that belt as well and I heard rumours that Navarette is moving up to 130lbs so maybe there’s an opportunity to fight one of those in a final eliminator… or is FWarren is very good… a vacant title fight.

hes fast becoming my fav fighter, but I don't get why people write off warrington so easily and always have. It would be a very exciting match up for sure!!!

Warrington takes a load of unnecessary flak, he's constantly took on dangerous opponents, fought Lara after getting battered first time yet people seem to think he's shitting himself from a third fight, he's got another capable opponent in Lopez as well

If youre gonna criticise Warrington, it's the dangerous use of the head but not the size of his balls

Ball certainly did the job last night, but talk of beating Warrington now is a bit premature.
Ball needs a couple of mid world level wins more, needs a bit of finessing as he's walking through boxers at the level last night, and sometimes that can hurt if put in too deep too soon.

Thats a good call. So far his beat lowe who hasn't done much who really doesn't have a Victory above domestic level. Be interesting if they go to the British title fight that fell thru. Can't remember the kids name but his been vocal on twitter about the fight. Talk of warrington is miles off. He looks dangerous but its a massive step up from where his been plying his trade.

Nathaniel Collins. Would be a really good fight. Collins has some ability. Easily beat the unbeaten Jacob Robinson (Steve Robinson’s son) last time out.

Ball's team pulled him out of the Collins fight. Wanted him to aim beyond domestic level apparently, which seems to be code for "felt that match was too risky".

I think Ball would win that fight, but it's a typically weak ducking out of a compelling match which is all too common in this sport.

ball looks good but he best win was isaac lowe coming off a beatdown ko loss. could do with more of a transition to some of the names being mentioned. given how unusally short he is i would like to see him against a decently skilled boxer with some jab and movement. he was listed at 5'2 then magically bumped to 5'5 , which he obviously isnt (he's almost a full head shorter than 5'6-5'7 lowe)

the mexican the other night has 0 notable results and came in way late notice, hard to take much from that tbh
