I have a feeling he must be struggling, he lost his fortune, probably carries a lot of guilt about Michael Watson which he admitted too, lost his son, then was really frightened about Chris Jr melting down with all sorts of dehydration clauses whilst Connor is using drugs.
I don't think it's cricket that the fella interviewed him and put it all over YouTube. Senior needs some good folks around him to get him grounded. Hope he gets better though, if anyone can overcome it, it's him. He's a warrior.
The bloke should hang his head in shame.

Yeah he isn't right here at all. Sad that it's been uploaded all over the net. The guy is a wrong un for doing that. If someone you either liked or admired was struggling like that you'd probably just say " sod it let's go to the chippy, have some scran and do the interview another time" that was just clout chasing for clicks. It's not right at all.golden_balls wrote: ↑11 Nov 2022, 16:57agreed. exploitative for clickbait. no idea who he is anyway, but I can see TikTok on there so probably whySpud wrote: ↑11 Nov 2022, 05:25I will say it how it is … I thought it was f*cking disgusting that the interview was published and I think boxing should completely blank the absolute pr*ck who interviewed Chris Snr it is not as if he was getting a sensational interview for the good and benefit of boxing…big lennox wrote: ↑11 Nov 2022, 03:11

All gone proper quiet… and I can only assume they can’t prove contamination and are sitting this out and will get the inevitable 1 year ban backdated to the first failed test.
He will be fighting next summer against Sam Vargas II.
They can bill it “ReBenntion”.

Is he trying to kid us he was fighting way above the weight he could safely make throughout his entire career so far? If so, why? None of it makes any sense.
Sorry I wasn't sure if that was a question or a statement of fact.

He wasn’t moving to welter. I’m also not sure he’s a super middleweight. His last 2 fights for any kind of titles have been at middleweight and the other most recent 2 (for no titles) have been at just over middleweight. He was moving down 3 pounds from his normal fighting weight.
I had much more of an issue with the unconfirmed rehydration clause.
Re: Chris Eubank Jr. vs. Conor Benn | DAZN PPV - 8 October 2022
Well suspect that it was… and has been… consistently hidden that rehydration clause.maverick23 wrote: ↑13 Nov 2022, 02:59Sorry - it should have been a question mark.

Matchroom, and I think Kalle too, have said it wasn’t 160lbs. Reading between the lines I think it would have been 8lbs but I’m guessing.Dioufy wrote: ↑13 Nov 2022, 05:32Well suspect that it was… and has been… consistently hidden that rehydration clause.maverick23 wrote: ↑13 Nov 2022, 02:59Sorry - it should have been a question mark.

I don’t get why Kalle would lie about it to be honest. Albeit I also don’t get why they just don’t say what it is if it were something like 8lbs. Who knows.Dioufy wrote: ↑13 Nov 2022, 05:44You believing Kalle the cokie and Eddie the desperate be your 1st mistake.maverick23 wrote: ↑13 Nov 2022, 05:35Matchroom, and I think Kalle too, have said it wasn’t 160lbs. My original point was just that Eubank Jr wasn’t coming down 3 weight divisions.

Regards , he interview it was bad and it was sad ,, BUT Ediie had said earlier that they should;nt be interviewing Snr because he's unstable he was ridiculed ,, I watched this and think WOW he's losing it ,, shuld the guy of posted it well he is aninterviewer earning a living doing it ,, he looked ike at times he was shitting himself , and scared listening to a guy speaking sence one minuite then Hissing like a snake and proclaiming himself a King the next .
Non of us would off known how bad chris was if he had'nt of posted it after all Spencer posted one saying he was alright not long before .
Now its obvious he is losing the plot and his familly need to step in because non of us can

For me it was the conduct of the interviewer… it is was clear Chris Snr was not right which using a tadge amount of common sense the interviewer should have been less probing and empathetic to Chris Snr.
Instead, the interviewer thought of nothing else but getting “likes” for his f*cking sh*t unprofessional website.
What a total pr*ck.
More importantly… I really hope those close to Chris Snr get him the help and guidance he needs …
Chris Snr is one of this countries most well known sportsman who gave so much to the sport we all love.
Get well soon Chris

I did sort of agree until I saw the follow up video. Now obviously this is just a one sided account but he did pay for the interview...so perhaps Eubank's agent is more guilty. I dont blame a guy trying to forge a career in interviewing who is actually paying for Chris's time to then publish it.Spud wrote: ↑13 Nov 2022, 09:32 For me it was the conduct of the interviewer… it is was clear Chris Snr was not right which using a tadge amount of common sense the interviewer should have been less probing and empathetic to Chris Snr.

Even if he didnt pay for Eubanks time in all honesty it takes an incredibly moral person to take the choice of "this guy is not well this video is wrong" over "this is going to make me a fortune". I can say I wouldnt publish it standing from the sides and never actually interviewed him, but had I actually got the video in my hand that could make me hit the big time, I'm not sure I would.
Even the bbc played the Wogan episode of George Best being pissed and Ifl have definately interviewed Kalle when seemingly intoxicated.
Re: Chris Eubank Jr. vs. Conor Benn | DAZN PPV - 8 October 2022
I also wasnt aware of Eubanks drug habit which completely shocked me (as implied in the follow up video).coneye wrote: ↑13 Nov 2022, 06:42 Regards , he interview it was bad and it was sad ,, BUT Ediie had said earlier that they should;nt be interviewing Snr because he's unstable he was ridiculed ,, I watched this and think WOW he's losing it ,, shuld the guy of posted it well he is aninterviewer earning a living doing it ,, he looked ike at times he was shitting himself , and scared listening to a guy speaking sence one minuite then Hissing like a snake and proclaiming himself a King the next .

Re: Chris Eubank Jr. vs. Conor Benn | DAZN PPV - 8 October 2022
I certainly wouldn't have published it as it looks exploitative of someone clearly in a bad way.
As another poster said, I doubt it's as if the interviewer called Eubank directly and arranged it one to one. You'd like to have thought his agent/PR people would have declined.

We’ve all heard the stories of Eubank Snr being detained by a mental health hospital a month ago. This interview shouldn’t have taken place and neither should the interviews on TalkSPORT.Spud wrote: ↑13 Nov 2022, 10:53Valid pointsLoynesy wrote: ↑13 Nov 2022, 10:51I certainly wouldn't have published it as it looks exploitative of someone clearly in a bad way.

Got to the stage now with Benn i'm thinking let the little twerp fight ,, He's only got this bigheaded and full of his little self , because Hearn has been looking after him , the only reason for that is Hearn could see dollars with his new star in the making .
However now , i don't think he will draw more than a few thousand UNLESS he fights someone decent , and he'll have to do it WITHOUT the peds now , so whats that mean , simple think we all know ,
1--- he will grow some balls and go in against a decemnt opponent then he'll get sparkd and its carreer over
2--- He will not go in against someone half decent and people will just know for sure he was a cheating little prick , not pay to watch him , then he's no use to Eddie so its carreer over
3--- He still takes peds gets caught again and its carreer over .
Win Win Win if they let him back we will soon get rid of another cheat ,,, because people now relize he's not just a cheat , he's an arrogant , big headed , self entitled cheat
