Why Benavidez would not shoot for the greatness and demand a fight with Bivol?

I mean, why he would not do that ? Canelo had the balls to take the risk! Zurdo did it too!

People are hyping Bena so much but he's matched with leftovers.

Bena is a big dude that probably struggles big time to make 168.

#1 he is still only 25.
#2 he will be Canelo's mandatory if he beats Plant.
#3 even if he moved up now, it would be 1-2 years before he would get a chance at Bivol.

Legitly , Bivol is the man atm. He whooped Canelo and Zurdo. So, Benavidez should aim to get the best out there.

Plant is Canelo's leftover. At the worse Canelo would probably vacate his smw wbc strap and be made champion in recess or franchise champion by the wbc.

Bivol has actually sparred with David multiple times. They are familiar with one another. It's a fight that could be made, if Bivol wanted to try the waters at 168. I don't think David is wanting to go up in weight at this time.

ya, someone in their mid 20s is far too young for this fight, he's just a toddler really

ffs man you whined about people 'babying' canelo by mentioning he just turned 23 when he fought floyd, but now you want the kid gloves treatment for a guy turning 26 next month

Bena is a big smw that he struggles to make 168. Imo its natural to want to fight the best out there. I guess he's comfortable to get safe paydays in his stable and then at 30 + y/o to cash in. Maybe Plant would outbox Bena.

yeah, Bena needs to hit 36-37 y/o to fight a real top opponent. Now he's a little pupil of boxing.
