A Round of Applause For British Boxing Right Now

Post by keithmoonhangover »

I know the BoxRec rankings aren''t perfect but can we just take a moment to marvel at the rankings of the Brits right now.

Britain has the '#1 boxer in four divisions
We have five of the top ten heavyweights.

I've been watching boxing for 45 years and I'm not sure if it's ever been this good before.

I applaud you British boxers.

Rubbish. Dillian Whyte is a domestic level plodder. I pander for the days of Danny Williams vs Matt Skelton with an 8 rounder as chief support.

The main difference is Skelton's opponents would accuse him of lying about his age. Whyte accuses his opponents of lying about their first names.
