Andy Clarke, like Smith, is another public schoolboy weed who has no place in boxing.
They'd be run out of any other sport for being chancers yet we have to put up with them.

And all those sky yes men that Smith pulled together over the years company Nelson, Froch..hopefully they get rid of them too. Clean sweep
It’s funny all people ever say about Robinson is he’s ’a nice guy’….. lol like that’s the main qualification for a senior boxing job….

I have to agree with what someone said to me … theres no smoke without fire.

But I will contradict that by saying “If I was a betting man😉 I would bet on Smith being back in Jan.

Smith has been with Sky for over 27 years and is quite influential in Sky, I cannot see them sacking him.

If he is sacked I would bet on Ed Robinson taking over as head of boxing and a new commentator being found.

What has his education got to do with anything? Surely where someone went to school shouldn't matter.

Question is, who would be our Gary Lineker? I'd get David Haye doing it
Careful what you wish for, BBC World Cup, or any kind of sports coverage, is woke nonsense with presenters / pundits chosen solely to tick diversity boxes rather than picked on merit.

Sky should use the long overdue exit of the truly awful Smith as a chance to turn over a new leaf. Make Ed Robinson front of house again, put Andy Clarke on comms and get rid of Anna and Johnny and Matt
Couldn’t agree more. People jumping on what your saying are kidding themselves Of course Ian wright and Micah Richards are there on merit but Alex Scott and that other black bird they’ve got on there are just ticking a box it’s as clear as day.

How many boxers are former public schoolboys? These twerps have no place in the sport, they're not there on merit just the old connections etc. The sport should be more representative of people involved in it

Why are you assuming the being a public schoolboy is a bad thing? That's very small minded.

You're right, when will the persecution of the posh and privileged end? Have they not suffered enough, the poor, rich, bastards?

I think Woolhouse is pretty good. She doesn't hog the spotlight and has a very calm and professional presenting manner.
I don't mind Johnny, I can see why he might wind up others but I don't have an issue with him being on.
Regarding the commentary, I'm not a massive Smith fan but that's for no other reason than I don't think his commentary is that good. I actually think he's better on the darts.
Macklin's OK, not brilliant. Andy Clarke isn't too bad.

I think when you watch a lot of boxing, there's a tendency to get fed up and irritated with the same old voices. I remember the stick Jim Watt used to get and it's amazing how many times I see people yearn for the days of him on commentary.

Look, it could be worse. DAZN have got Bellew.

they're everywhere, these public-school educated dropouts, Etonian street sleepers, you can't spit on the street in Brum without hitting a Spicehead called Tarquin or Rupert.

of course, that's only in Birmingham; the rest of the country may not have quite such a high standard of homeless people. YMMV. :TU:

IMO these homeless public school types are an absolute burden on society and must be eradicated toute suite.

It's one thing a fella saying spare a quid for some dogfood, but quite another when they are doing it for a new Burberry suit.

Some of these scroungers expect to be reimbursed for wisteria removal from their chimneys, floating duck islands, hedgecutting, and moat upkeep.
