39-37 Franklin. Outworked Whyte in the 4th. Dillian didn’t throw a great deal there. Franklin threw a fair bit so may pay for it later.

I have Franklin edging the first four, but as per what I've seen of him before, his cardio is letting him down.

I’d probably give the 5th to Dillian. Franklin’s looking a little more tired and Whyte is landing so solid bodyshots. 48-47 Franklin.

Franklin not ready to wilt yet.

There could be drama in the second half.

Ronnie Mac on the radio has Franklin running away with it and controlling it with the jab. Is that right?

Lots of close rounds this fight. if it goes 12 scorecards could be anywhere.

Think franklins nose might be broken, corner said "dont blow , clean his nostrils"... trying to avoid blowing his nose and puffing his eyes up ?(common wit a broken nose)..

It's tight, but totally possible to see it that way.

Franklin looking fairly compact with decent enough handspeed but don't think he has that extra pop to truly trouble Whyte, boxing quite nicely though.

Dill is on the slide, and wasn’t great to start with…

Whyte is a tiny level above Chisora, if that answers your question?
Franklin's best opponent so far was Forrest, who he edged a decision.

Feel like Franklin's about 3 up with 5 to go.

Haye was clearly expecting Franklin to be spent by this stage, understandably.

But Franklin is still forcing out combinations. Whyte hasn’t quite got him under control after 7 rounds, but so far looks fit and ready to answer when needed.

The fact he hasn't already dealt with this fat, small, pillow fisted inexperienced bloke is quite disturbing

Well that depends on what your expectations are I suppose.

Round 8 was a tough one to score. Franklin landed more again but Whyte’s shots were bigger and again landed some big body shots. Franklin looked a bit tired towards the end.

76-76.

I felt Whyte edged R8. I've Franklin 2 up going into R9.

Whyte really seems to be stuck between styles. Standing in range with the cross arm defence and taking quite a few punches.
