Good Friends Fighting

Post by Spud »

Forum,

Does anyone know of good friends fighting??

What got me thinking of this was the in my opinion “lack of interest” to the build up of good friends Tyson Fury & Del Boy Chisora.

I honestly feel the lack of “animosity” between the 2 has contributed to the “Zero Interest” fight.

A fight that springs to mind was Joe Calzaghe v Richie Woodhall.

Anymore??

Simon Brown and Maurice Blocker were best men at each other's wedding and when they fought, it was a brutal affair.

It’s got nothing to do with a lack of animosity between the two. The lack of interest is because Tyson has beat him two times with ease already

Brown was in tears at the end, he didn't hold anything back when finishing Blocker.

Calzaghe v Woodhall was a tough fight, but also a lot of mutual respect on show.

Mitchell and Burns were pally too if I remember rightly, weirdly friendly during a filmed gloves are off style thing.

Luke Campbell and Tommy coyle seemed best mates in a weird in ring interview when the fight was announced then at the first press conference acted like there was beef.
