Luckett Davis, undoubtedly the most prolific compiler of boxing results from old newspapers, has passed away. His contributions to the BoxRec records are many.

RIP Luckett. He had been a great help and great friend through the years.

He donated his collection to Winthrop University...if you Google the above ..absolute massive and interesting collection..they list it on a download pdf ..something like 364 pages....Will be sorely missed..a true great of record collectting.

Yes, a true pioneer and great record compiler. And, as stated, very helpful, RIP.
