Troy was just too slow. Kelly doesn't have the power to keep the big boys off. Can't see him going much further.

119-109 Kelly, best performance of his career but still more fart than sh1t, he did dominate Williamson, better footwork, picked the better punches, landed the left hook and rolled under time and again, hurt Williamson a few times coming up with the uppercuts through the middle but still postures too much and is too busy feinting and posing out of range, he did make Williamson miss all night but too boring for me an nowhere near as spectacular as commentators and Kalle saying

Hope they keep him busy now , from what Booth was saying there has dealt with mental health issues so keeping busy can only be a good thing .
Obviously power is going to be an issue at the very top but still can mix it with euro level .

So from what I’ve seen most people thought Williamson would beat up Kelly (fans and fellow pros).

Kelly goes out and wins every round.

Gotta be big credit for that. Even if at times it was a bit of pitterpatter Kelly.

Carl Froch landed a check left hook - right hand, on the mandible section of the cranium, rendering him unconscious momentarily in front of 80,000 people at Wembley stadium.

Hasn`t Groves had a hair job? He was totally bald before.

I remember Derry Matthews had one and did an interview with IFL with his head in a bandage. Wonder what it looks like now.

I reckon fast Car has had a snidey hair job as well, no full shave, just bits inbetween his original barnet. Something about his barnet that I can`t quite trust.

Fair play. Quite common these days.

Why does Adam Booth say Kelly’s the most talented fighter he’s ever had

He's getting a proper hiding if he ever gets a crack at a world title. Both of them looked miles away from anything aproaching world-class boxing.

It was more, Kelly will every round and until he gasses/gets the yips/feels the power, but he’s a great on top fighter and he stayed on top..

Bang on. It’s not like Williamson fought any different to normal & many expected that would be enough to break Kelly down but instead Kelly dominated him

:salut:
But as a British title fight, it was good. Kelly has already been found wanting at Euro level. He could well some day get the European if Ava drops it.

Josh was absolutely superb and dealt with the pace fantastically well… even if it was constant uneducated pressure. Troy has shown his ceiling for me. Great heart, a warrior, a bit of power but is absolutely basic and at 31 you can’t see that changing.

Kalle talking about there’s still big domestic fights for Josh. You know what that means? Big Egg next.

Really good performance by Josh. He coped with the rounds well. I was a bit disappointed with Troy though. Perhaps I overrated him for the Cheeseman performance.

Josh was too slick.

He did get hit, but it didn't really do any damage.

I feel this way too RE Williamson, Kelly proved he is a level above the likes of Troy but still don't see him making any real moves in this division beyond the domestic scene. I feel even at European level a fighter who can cut the ring off properly and move their head effectively with a bit of punch variety will give him real problems.
