objectively rewatching the fight one really can't disagree that franklin at the very least deserved a draw.
realistically also everybody including franklin and his team knew already before that if they somehow leave the decision up to the corrupt judges they will get 100% guaranteed shat on.

There is a 117-11 for Whyte however

TBH, it looked more like a tough man fight. Young Jared Anderson would have stopped either one.

Draw is the best option for Franklin. I had it 115-113 for Whyte.

I had Franklin up 2. Could argue whyte should have had a knockdown in the final round, the ropes kept Franklin up

I'm biased in favour of Dillian Whyte.
However, if he hadn't pulled out those final 2 strong rounds I was prepared to accept that he'd been given the decision.
As it was, and I felt the same way in Hagler v Leonard and GGG v Canelo 1 and 2, it's up to the challenger to take away the belts from the defending champion.
Jermaine Franklin got very close, but didn't do quite enough.
A draw would have been more acceptable than those two 116-112 scorecards. It was certainly closer than that.
I hope Franklin uses this as a learning experience and comes back even stronger. His lack of experience in the 'championship rounds' left some room for the judges to fudge it.
In future he'll know better than to leave them that room.

It was a bit of a mess to score. Whyte looked finished. I don't think Whyte won, but there was a lot of rounds that were unclear.
