I think it was a great win against Kiko.

The Frampton fight was a classic. Overlooked really. Frampton may not have been at his best but he was within 2 years of the win over LSC, the close second one and the Donaire win.

Had he fought a different fight Frampton could have won.

Think Josh still has plenty left.

Pretty fun Idea working the football into it. The one weird thing is going to be the vibes amoungst the crowd... If england win it will be mental party vibes rolling into the main event. If the lose it will be depressed angry vibes.

If it goes to extra time they will just push the boxing back. There not going to turn off the world cup in extra time haha, not unless they love riots.

Can imagine there being a load of problems with pissed up idiots England win or lose, seeing as there is no football earlier it would have been better to do an afternoon show, main event at 6 and then have the football on and boxing fans can go home.
Be weird that nobody realised that this was going to happen when scheduling this show

Not sure I'd like to be among a crowd of coked up arseheads if England lose.
I'd be asking for a bit of danger money if I was security...

Think this has sold worse than any other Josh show since he broke through?

Cheap tickets too.

I’ll never get why Warrington is so under appreciated and disliked. He’s a nice enough working class lad who’s had some cracking performances. Thought he’d also get more credit for stepping straight back in with Lara too, but seems to get slated for it. Maybe it’s a moronic football thing.

What if it goes to extra time?
So the show could last 10 hours or more?

It’s just for the fans in attendance.

They wont show us the game on DAZN.

I don’t see why anyone would stay in the arena. They could hit the pub.

he's been nasty with the fouls of late. the famous lubed warrington head, elbows, lowblows......so i can understand anyone sour on him because of that. prior to that i liked him and picked him repeatedly over guys everyone thought were levels above him. fought his way up from the bottom and always fought hard.

also pretty much anyone who gets a big enough following gets the a side backlash, not just him. much of the same reason ppl act like aj's some big diva protected can crushing flower when he's fought top opposition consistently for years and won most fights in ko style

Lopez looks every bit the handful that Lara was, although should be easier to hit clean.

Another tough night coming up for Warrington.

He's definitely the better boxer but will need to win very clearly to get a decision in Leeds. He looks good in some recent fights but also has some areas where I think Joshs combination punching can be pretty effective. I think Lopez has better footwork and could box rings around Josh here. I always considered durability one of Joshs strengths but that is slightly questionable after the beating from Lara.

Tough fight to call because I give the edge to Lopez in a lot of areas. Josh will open up with some multiple punch combinations which get the crowd going and allow the judges to flip rounds in his favour when he might have just lost the round. Lopez can also be a pretty good body puncher and if he decides to go to war I can see him coming out on top. Basically I can see Lopez winning in many different ways but it looks like a close decision win is the only way I'm seeing Josh winning. The problem is that I think Josh will win a decision or at the very least get a draw if he remains upright and goes the distance, whether he deserves it or not. On neutral ground I'd have no problem with a large bet on Lopez. But British boxing is just too corrupt. I don't really think I'll even watch it. If I hear the fight was good and there is no corruption, I'll catch a replay.

I’m surprised Lopez is such a favourite to win. He doesn’t look that good in the vids and is easy to hit

That is a shame, it's a quite decent card all up, with time to get some Beersies in during the chick fight.

Yeah he ticked off every foul going in the first round of both the Kiko and Lara fights

Yeah. I’m not really surprised either.

Boxing is going to be hit hard on gates with the cost of living crisis. The bulk of Warrington fans will be working class blokes and many can’t justify going to a fight against someone they’ve never heard of.

Coupled with the fact it’s the same night as England in the World Cup, they’ve been able to piggy back on promotion with Leeds United in the last few weeks and there hasn’t been loads so far in the way of promotion.

The undercard is pretty threadbare too which doesn’t help things.

He also needs to win 8-9 rounds CLEARLY or to hurt Josh multiple times.
