FW spent 6 weeks trying to make the Joshua fight. Unfortunately Joshua didn't have enough confidence to even attend the event.big lennox wrote: ↑07 Dec 2022, 18:46 Totally agree. He used Joshua's name to keep his own name current before taking a guaranteed victory instead, says a lot about his actual belief in himself. I 100% think he doesn't fancy Uysk and I dont think he is totally certain that he would beat Joshua.

He is promoting a talk he’s doing in Saudi in February so god knows what’s going on with a March fight. Obviously commercial stuff comes first for AJ.

A talk? My God, that sounds horrific. Obviously not as horrific as a fashion show, but still.mickey1975 wrote: ↑08 Dec 2022, 08:24He is promoting a talk he’s doing in Saudi in February so god knows what’s going on with a March fight. Obviously commercial stuff comes first for AJ.

You're wasting your time. There's a few who are all over this Fury-Usyk thread who choose to believe that Joshua was preparing to fight last weekend.mickey1975 wrote: ↑08 Dec 2022, 08:24He is promoting a talk he’s doing in Saudi in February so god knows what’s going on with a March fight. Well, Tyson and Usyk’s manager sounded confident of it happening on Talksport today.

Doofus, Fury said in August he was coming out of retirement to fight Dek Chisora. Are you calling him a liar? Well you can't because he did actually fight Dek Chisora, as he said he would back in August.BigDoofus wrote: ↑08 Dec 2022, 08:50You're wasting your time. Did Talksport not think of calling the real experts?mickey1975 wrote: ↑08 Dec 2022, 08:52 Well, Tyson and Usyk’s manager sounded confident of it happening on Talksport today.

He is trying Donald Trump tactics of trying to belittle his opponents with silly names to convince people that he is the best. Replace ' Crooked Hilary' with ' The Middleweight' or ' Sleepy Joe Biden' with ' The Bodybuilder'. The same playbook. All veneer.

The Del fight will prove a master stroke if he fights Usyk. Everyone on here has vowed to forgive him, so around £10m for basically starting a training camp is great business. The Gratest wrote: ↑08 Dec 2022, 08:58Doofus, Fury said in August he was coming out of retirement to fight Dek Chisora. Well I really, really, really do hope he fights Usyk next, and i'd hold my hands up and say 'Wow. I'm sorry for being so doubtful, you've made me look a complete twat'. However, there seems to be some gaslighting already going on to put a more tailor-made style of opponent to the fore.mickey1975 wrote: ↑08 Dec 2022, 09:51The Del fight will prove a master stroke if he fights Usyk. A masterstroke that will probably shave about 10 years off Chisora's life..mickey1975 wrote: ↑08 Dec 2022, 09:51The Del fight will prove a master stroke if he fights Usyk. Fury now coming out and defending Usyk's size saying he's not a small Heavyweight and bigger than Ali and about same size as Foreman
When I say defending I mean contradicting himself from his own nonsense

Oleksandr Usyk posts selfie with Tyson Fury and captions it with funny Ukrainian insult which may have been lost in translation
Oleksandr Usyk has now posted the selfie he took with Tyson Fury during their face-off last weekend.
The Ukrainian was ringside for the bout and so got a close-up view of the action.
During his post-fight interview, Fury called out Usyk, prompting him to step onto the ring apron as the pair faced off over the ropes.
The Brit hurled insults at his rival who remained unmoved before Joe Joyce also crashed the confrontation.
At the end of it all, Usyk was seen taking a selfie with his fellow heavyweights.
And he has now posted the picture he took with Fury.
It follows a pattern from when he previously did the same before beating Anthony Joshua.

Usyk captioned the image: “Пузіко як справи.”
The automatic translation on Instagram says this means: “Belly button, what’s up?”
However, there is dispute online with others claiming he’s actually just saying ‘tummy’ or ‘belly’ to poke fun at Fury’s physique.
It appears the actual meaning may have been lost in translation.
On Thursday, Usyk’s manager told talkSPORT the fight is ‘almost done’.
“We’ve been in negotiations even before the [Chisora] fight, that’s why we showed up to the fight,” Klimas explained.
“So, I’ve been speaking with Queensbury promotions before and we spoke to Top Rank [on Thursday] morning on a conference call.
“All of us got together and we are almost done, there is not much left to talk.
“Two heavyweights, the best in the sport today, undisputed heavyweight championship bout, that is what the fans need.”

In this week's Wrestling Observer it states that Fury is keen to return to WWE for a tag match with father John against Logan and Jake Paul. Can't wait to see that

Re: Tyson Fury vs. Oleksandr Usyk - Spring 2023
Maybe it's some kind of a crooked Ukrainian dialect. Usyk has always been speaking Russian in public and he started to speak Ukrainian only recently for some unknown reason.Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑09 Dec 2022, 07:41 Usyk captioned the image: “Пузіко як справи.”
