Maybe, but if AJ caught the southpaw Byrd off the ropes with jabs and right hands, then Byrd would be in trouble and AJ would either decision or stop him late.

Joshua far too big here. He would look daft at times but can’t see any way he wouldn’t win this via stoppage.

I could see Joshua winning by KO in a fight he was losing prior to that.

If Byrd fought absolutely perfectly he could decision Joshua, but more often than not Joshua would catch him and stop him.

Byrd had some legit form here......and AJ is a guy that's clearly come up short with the lighter-more technically polished Usyk.

But then again, Usyk has way more snap on his punches, throws more often and is not always skirting the ring, which is why AJ does not simply come to bomb him out, in case he gets badly cracked or finds himself four/five rounds down.

I don't think Byrd can quite deliver the 'payback' Usyk has - he's not carrying the same threat, has to be way way more careful - and that enables Joshua to win an untidy fight on the cards which is mainly about his pressing/chasing.
