Warrington

Post by Noxy »

Lads, I saw this article today where Luis Lopez said he wouldn't fight Warrington again because he was too dirty - rabbit punches, use of the head.
How do you see it? The only time I've seen Warrington recently was the Frampton fight and I don't remember him fighting dirty in that one.

He won the alphabet belt head-butting the shit out of Kiko Martinez. The Brit ref ignored it. Here's a look at Kiko's face https://www.worldboxingnews.net/2022/03 ... headbutts/

his last 3 fights he's cut all his opponents within 2 rounds via headbutts. elbows, lowblows too. his corner was caught on video encouraging him to foul last fight

That’s the last time Yu watched him.

Probably the last decent fight he had.

The Galahad fight after that was ‘controversial’,
Then he knocked out a can, then he got throttled by Lara.

It was the rematch with Lara where he started to be dirty.

Lara rematch, reclaimed the IBF belt via headbutt against Kiko and now the Lopez fight.

Is that so? The first Lara fight was actually the first time I saw him, but I'm sure I remember reading complaints about him being an awfully dirty fighter. Not 100 per cent sure though. Anyway, I despise him.
