What were your scorecards in the Golota-Bowe fights?

Post by Sweet Dick Willie »

In the first one I didn't have a single round for Bowe so it was 58-54 Golota. The second one 75-72 and also Golota, of course. Just re-watched both of them with the children (they were horrified) and I didn't even remember that insane headbutt in fight 2. Man, Golota was possessed or something. But as long as these two entertaining boxing matches lasted he seemed like a real heavyweight contender and a future champion. But then something transpired...

Did anyone have Bowe winning either one?

Also: has anyone ever taken the whole 5 minutes to recover from a lowblow? I've never seen it.

57-55 and 74-72 for Golota.

Interestingly, Bowe counteracted more successfully in the rematch, but also received more beating there.

That's right. But still he stood.

I can't remember how I scored the 2 fights but I had Golota ahead in both of them.

That 2nd Bowe-Golota fight is actually an underrated fight. Prior to the DQ finish it's one of the more wild Heavyweight brawls you'll see.

I think it's a much better fight overall than the 1st one.

The 1st one is more memorable primarily due to the Riot.

Absolutely, the 2nd one was way more brutal and dramatic.
