The Bruno who was leading against Lewis would be a real handful for a lot of the bigger guys.Ambling Alp II wrote: ↑28 Nov 2022, 14:32 Bruno is more tested; the problem being that he often failed the tests.
Fury looked awful against an ancient Klitschko. Wilder is his only live opponent his entire career. Wilder could punch but that is it. If Bruno caught Fury, he might actually have been able to put him away. Bruno didn't have a good chin himself, but it may have been good enough against Fury's "power".

Most likely dominant UD for Fury.
Re: Frank Bruno vs. Tyson Fury
Loved Frank to bits and there was that punching power and brute physical strength....and when he moved on from the Lawless stable, he started to fight altogether smarter. Towards the end I thought he was actually way better at protecting himself when backed-up and tiring or perhaps caught flat-footed in centre of ring.
But really it has to be Fury. There's too much movement (and the whole time) as well as Fury's variety, volume and accuracy of punches. A huge man too, so he can cope with any roughhousing and tire Frank out when they come together. Fury can also throw bombs when he's satisfied there is an opening.
If Frank gets any kind of start and lands a big hook, it gets interesting. But I think Fury just frustrates, moves and then increasingly steps in and finishes it around the 8th.

Fury would destroy Bruno. Either a lopsided UD (complete shut out), or if the mood took him he'd knock Bruno out inside 4.
