As much as I admired Ringo with his slugging and brawling style, he never beat any champions during his career on record.
Terrell in his prime would pull a Jimmy Ellis, who like Terrell was the former WBA Heavyweight Champion by out-boxing Ringo with his height and reach advantages behind his long jabs, combinations and holding him as Terrell would win an ugly decision.
The only chance that Ringo would beat Terrell if he meet Terrell from the post-Ali fight likely winning by decision.

Terrell's record vs. Champions is 1-1, he KO 7 Bob Foster and LUD 15 Muhammad Ali
Bonavena's record vs. Champion is 0-5, twice against Joe Frazier (you could argue that Ringo was robbed in the first fight), Jimmy Ellis, Floyd Patterson and Muhammad Ali.
Terrell would win an ugly fight against Bonavena by decision in 15 rounds after jabbing him, landing long range punches and clutching him.
