This is a hard one to pick. I don't think that Floyd Patterson would have lost to guys like John "The Quiet Man" Ruiz. Ruiz wasn't that good. That's why the great Roy Jones, Jr schooled him.

But, I believe with Patterson would be another proposition. Both had fast Hands and power.

I would lean with Patterson by knockout. Sooner or later in the fight, he would catch Super Roy's chin with a swift left hook.

Patterson by KO. Too explosive and hard-hitting for Jones. He defeated the much better HWs, than Roy did with his championship win.

Floyd is criminally underrated. He was a top HW. He beats RJJ.
