Are they sparring together? I saw a video recently with Andy Lee saying that he keeps them separate when it comes to sparring, but I would have thought that Parker would be ideal to help with prep for a Uysk fight.

I don’t know. Their strength and conditioning trainer seems to be putting them through it at the moment.

That's great news. I like Fury and Uysk, and their fighting styles. If it lasts just one round, 5 rounds or goes the distance, it will just be great to see them both in the ring together at the same time. I think Boxing really needs this fight, too.

Looks like it will be Jake Paul vs Tommy Fury in Saudi Arabia on the 25th February. No Fury vs Uysk thus far, though.

Great.

Strange it took so long to send a contract considering the time AJ had to get the deal done and dusted.

Probably needed more time to find the £500mil for Fury.

Why? With hindsight its obvious he was bluffing and they wanted to get out in 2022. They would still be waiting for Lucozade and Under Armour to approve it now, as well as AJ finding a trainer.....

Let's hope that the contract is really reasonable and there are no major sticking points in it. Boxing really needs this fight.

Ask Joe Parker how easy Frank is to deal with. :OhYes:

This is what I'm hoping/praying but not expecting. Too much 'almost there', 'nearly over the line ' etc etc stuff for me to get too excited yet

Hrgovic didn't look great last time out, but he is a level above DDD IMO.

Message from Uysk to Fury. Sounds like Fury has gone on the missing list a la Riddick Bowe against Lennox Lewis..

I'm having flashbacks to when Anthony Joshua called Tyson Fury a "fat fuck" only for Anthony Joshua to get knocked out by Andy Ruiz, lol.

I don't think he's necessarily calling Tyson Fury a "fat f*ck". I take it more like he's saying "Uh-oh, I'm in even better shape than I was when I whipped AJ's ass"

I take it as Uysk basicslly saying, " where are you, Fury? Put pen to paper if you have the bottle"

Like the rest of us, he is wondering if the fight will get made. Fury made the Chisora III and Wilder fights so quickly but it seems to take a lot longer for the tougher challenges of Joshua and Uysk. Just a casual observation.

It does look like Usyk is more slim than he was against Joshua. I wonder if that's a wise tactic. Unless Usyk figures if he's faster on his feet he can get more done but the trade off certainly will be losing some punching power as well as some punch resistance.
