Probellum
So it looks like Probellum are in the process of winding up. A couple of sites have reported it.
Companies house is saying there’s an active proposal to strike the company off.
An employee posted on Twitter that she and the rest of the staff were made redundant in December.
A couple of people (including Sam Jones) have removed Probellum references from their Twitter pages.
All together it certainly seems more than a rumour. I’m not surprised given their management team were likely on good money, their deals with the boxers would have been expensive in relation to their worth and they struggled to sell tickets/get a proper tv platform.

I’m surprised it’s taken as long as it has.
Re: Probellum
Marketing manager looking for new opportunities and willing to consider any sort of front group for organised criminals. Could be worth giving Andrew Tate a bell.

I’ve always quite liked Sam. I wonder where he goes from here though. Perhaps work with Boxxer as I find Shalom quite an awkward front man.high tower 1 wrote: ↑06 Jan 2023, 06:21 Sam Jones is getting sacked in the morning. Sacked in the morninggg!
It wouldn’t surprise me if he tries to get back into S-Jam but I think his old role has been replaced.

Should open some doors for Sunny Edwards, a brilliant fighter.

Yeah. I’d imagine Boxxer will be interested and will want to get a world champ on the books. I can’t see him going back to Frank but the obvious choice is Eddie for potential big fights.mickey1975 wrote: ↑06 Jan 2023, 06:36 Should open some doors for Sunny Edwards, a brilliant fighter.
I’d imagine there being interest in McGrail, Masoud. Ritson too I guess.

Re: Probellum
Can't see a clamour to sign sunny edwards. He is too connected to Kinahan and he doesn't sell a ticket.
He also can't fight in the US so you've gotta pay big dough to get him a big fight here

Re: Probellum
Will someone else pick up Ritson-Davies or is that a non-starter now?
Agree with others, Probellum have fighters I'd be interested to see again (Edwards, Masoud, McGrail, Ritson, McGregor - and also Prograis etc on the other side)

Re: Probellum
They had Donaire too, but I don't think we should be worried about him.
They've already lost some of their boxers to Sky and DAZN.
Some of them names will need promoting..
Maybe Wasserman can take come on for CH5.
Re: Probellum
Let's hope they or someone do. Was quite looking forward to Ritson-Davies to be fair - February 25th I think it was meant to be. Thomas Patrick Ward in a WBA eliminator on the same card.Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑06 Jan 2023, 13:31They had Donaire too, but I don't think we should be worried about him.

Re: Probellum
I was offered a multi-year contract to become a promoter for Probellum, It went pretty far, contracts issued and press release was about to go out and then I pulled the plug at the last minute because something didn't real right about it.
Thank God for following my gut feeling on that one.

Re: Probellum
Sad to see because I believe the best of intentions were there and the fighters and boxing fans were the ones that were going to benefit but it was obvious to anyone from very early on by what was going on in the media that these things had a shelf life. Look at boxxer by comparison. That is how you do it.
Re: Probellum
Definitely want to see those guys again. It's a worry when a group of name fighters come onto the market for a promotor. You hope they don't get sold short.

Re: Probellum
You could say they got hit with a 9mm Probellum round, even though Daniel Kinahan isn't involved in crime and he was on camera describing Patrick Hutch trying to kill him after Gary Hutch got killed working at the gym but the Hutches must have had the wrong end of the stick it was sone other fellaTheLeprechaun wrote: ↑12 Jan 2023, 14:36 Sad to see because I believe the best of intentions were there and the fighters and boxing fans were the ones that were going to benefit but it was obvious to anyone from very early on by what was going on in the media that these things had a shelf life. "Doyle was ambushed by two gunmen as he drove his BMW out of an apartment complex.
His gangster pal Gary Hutch, who was also in the vehicle at the time, escaped unscathed.
But Doyle was hit by 15 bullets and died at the scene."
Jesus all these guys getting murdered for fifteen years around this fella not involved in crime

Re: Probellum
They blamed a "British gangster who's daughter he beat up" and "Russian Mafia" for Doyle's death at the time

No mention of him being a hitman in a public feud in Ireland working for the Kinahans, with two Kinahan associates in the car escaping unhurt (Hutch, only temporarily)

Re: Probellum
Jamie Moore was only standing beside Daniel when some mad gunman took shots at them, why do so many bad things and dead bodies happen to/around this legit businessman??
With NO CONVICTIONS I add
Btw who's that with Daniel on the MGM shirt
https://images.app.goo.gl/YGDeRcBW4hvAYp5B7
And who's that laying dead shortly after
https://images.app.goo.gl/H54Ssgyck62WHUM77
They must have picked a fight with a paralell universe gang cus this has NOTHING to do with our Daniel and the Kinahans being involved in massive drug trafficking and murder
