Patterson would out-speed Big Cat behind his jabs and long range combinations to take a decision or else Williams may caught Patterson with a big left hook to knock him out from mid to late rounds.

Big Cat Williams was one of the reasons besides the great Sonny Liston that Floyd Patterson never gave him a title shot opportunity.

I agree. At some point Patterson gets caught and Williams had to much power for Floyd to recover.
