Frank would’ve knocked out Pele with his pre-fight stare

Granted he was a bit green, but it's hard to say if Pele was completely mis-trained by the Ingles or really just didn't have what it takes. Totally flattered by the Wayne Llewellyn win, he was favoured against Francis and totally ruined in 3 rounds. I just think the trainers must have been saying to him that his style was great, when the reality was it was awful.

I trained with Pele for a few years when I first turned pro.
He is a very sweet and lovely man and I find it hard to be too critical of him.
Pele had good skills and incredible power but suffered confidence issues which caused him to get caught and hurt which created confidence issues and so on.
Whilst you’d have to say Bruno would likely win, a Pele with a current day team and knowledge of things like sports psychology could have had a hugely different career.

Reid would have to use a sudden head kick to beat Bruno, like he did against Vitali, otherwise Bruno would destroy Reid. DQ loss gotta be better than KO 1 loss.

Thank you Lee......interesting stuff :salut:

It made up look up Pele's ring record again and that messy period of three back-to-back losses Francis, Norris and Jacobs must have petty much pulled the rug from under him

Pretty sure Frank wins however and possibly pretty comfortably/early.

It would be a one-sided fight with Bruno KO Reid in 1 with a big right hand.
