With Usyk I'd think Breidis is definitely his #1 win, It's kinda hard to say who's #2 between Gassiev and Huck, but those are 2 and 3 respectively I'd say. He also beat Glowacki who defeated Huck, and Tony Bellew.

Holyfield with 2 wins over Qawi and the win over De Leon. The 2 wins over Qawi alone are huge. Ossie Ocasio was arguably just as big as Qawi. He had challenged Holmes for the Heavyweight title once, and he also holds a victory over Qawi in his own right.

It's obviously gotta be between those 2. It's basically a toss up.

Obviously this is a 2 man race.

Holyfield with Qawi, De Leon and Ocasio

Usyk with Breidis, Gassiev and Huck

Holyfield beat Qawi twice. I'd give the edge to Holyfield as far as Top 3 wins, but Usyk has better 4th and 5th wins if you extend it, but Holyfield's single best wins at the weight are better than Usyk's.

Don't understate the win over De Leon. He was a terrific fighter.

Agree. Really smooth boxer who was dominant in the division for most of a decade. Got caught by Gordon but pretty much pitched a shutout in the rematch. His only really puzzling fight during the 1980s fight was against Ratliff, when he looked somewhat uninterested. Holyfield's performance against a really good De Leon was really impressive

Most HW fights from Sullivan up until about Liston probably qualify at today's weight stipulation. I know that's no what's being asked for but it's interesting, at least to me.

Well Toney's best win definitely IS Jirov. Then Mike McCallum and I guess...Greg Everett? There really isn't a notable 3rd name for Toney at Cruiserweight.

For Jirov it's probably Dale Brown, Julian Letterlough and I guess Jorge Castro

Or maybe Arthur Williams who was a solid Cruiserweight.

Yeah it is. But if we factored that in it muddies up the whole history of Boxing so I just go by the weight classes as they existed in these guys' time.

Most of Greb's fights would be Super Middleweight bouts today, but they were Light Heavyweight bouts then.

Castro was a middleweight - and a pretty good one - who didn't like to train. He looked like Two Ton Tony Galento at cruiserweight.

I won't argue that. Still though he's one of the bigger names on Jirov's Cruiserweight record.

Williams I'm sure was a more difficult challenge though.

jirov's record is pretty padded tbh having a look at it, not sure he should rank above the likes of o'neil bell or even wayne braithwaite

No doubt. Williams had a brief, short good run in the late 90s when he won a belt but almost always lost when he stepped up. I watched the Castro fight and Jirov won pretty handily but he was wary of Castro's punch, which even at cruiserweight was potent. Castro mostly sat his flab on the ropes and waited to counter on occasion

Jirov is like Vitali, he's rated so high mostly because of a good loss in a legendary fight. But some local clowns try to sh1t on the least and praise the first. Double standards. :OhYes:

Yeah that's why he's definitely not a Top 5 Cruiserweight. Possibly not Top 10 either.
