The poll is 110-8
Is that one of the most lopsided polls we have had lately?
I almost want to put a tenner on Yarde
Doesn't mean it's the odds sadly !
It's really not that hard to see Yarde winning is it ? Normal huge outsiders don't have any realistic way to win - Yarde does bigtime.
But Bert is really, really good and you gotta pick him.
I got 9-1 on Yarde, Skankie :yay:
Happy with that.
He can do it, fast start, big shots, and bring home the bacon for daddy* :TU:

*that's me
I don’t see that happening.
Why would Bert go for a wild shootout and give Yarde a 50/50 (ish) chance ?
He’s no idiot - I think he’ll be a lot more cautious and so will Yarde…
I expect both to be a fair bit more cautious, Bert will be patient looking to force his opening and Yarde will be looking to counter from a shell.
I can’t wait for the fight - it will be explosive and brutal - but the first couple/few(?)rounds might be relatively dull.
9.03 Yarde ain’t bad :TU:

I wonder if Yarde will attempt that shoulder roll nonsense against Beterbiev?
Going to be in trouble pretty quickly if he does. :box:

The prospects versus journeymen fights on this card are as bad as usual from Queensbury. Only worth watching chief support and main event.

It would be hilarious if Yarde chins Artur.

Think Beterbiev will walk through Yarde and punch holes through him, I do like Yarde, he has skills and obvious power but can't help but feel he's blagged his whole career, never really learnt the lessons of the Kovalev defeat, stuck with Tunde even after the loss to Arthur, fair enough looked great in the rematch but still long spells of inactivity, waiting for distant supposed world title fights and when he does fight it's back to pre Kovalev type guys

I do love me a bit of Beterbiev, who doesn't? Still I'll be hoping Yarde can shock the world, if the fight goes passed halfway then I wouldn't be surprised to see him hurt Beterbiev at some point

Can see something like GGG Brook panning out. Yarde has some early moments that make the crowd go mad but gets busted up and stopped mid rounds.

BT should be promoting this fight full throttle, barely heard or seen anything from them, seen it advertised on the football once or twice but zero content, would've loved a 24/7 type build up programme

Ironically, because it’s non ppv on a subscription channel it doesn’t need any extra advertising.

Of course it does, a lot of fans like that sort of thing, BT knew this would bomb on ppv nobody knows Beterbiev and Yarde not ppv, still fair play to BT, sky would've had this ppv I'd imagine but they'd at least plug it either way

Top Ranks shoulder content has been abysmal as well

Let's make a poll in which round Beter destroys Yarde.

Beterbiev might have a 100% KO rate but it's his tremendous mastery of the boxing fundamentals that will enable him to take out Yarde.

I give Yarde six rounds until he's out of there.

I'm picking Yarde. I think he can destroy Beterbiev on the inside.

I'm with you. I re-watched the Smith fight last night and while Yarde won't be as gung-ho as Smith, I was still struck by how good Berb's footwork is... those viewing him solely through the lens of a heavy-handed slugger are making a big mistake IMO.

Really, what makes you think that, esp given Berb seems very comfortable on the inside (witness the consecutive uppercuts he finished Smith with).

If you look past the KO Streak and vicious punching. You’ll find that Beterbiev is a very good boxer technically.

Kinda like GGG.behind that power, he’s a very good boxer too.
