As I said before, the Roberto Duran that beat Sugar Ray Leonard in Montreal nobody beats him! What a performance of one of the all-time best!

Thomas Hearns wins from 154lbs and above.

From 147lbs and below, is all Roberto Duran!

My pick is Hearns was all wrong for Duran. Duran is almost never able to get inside, and if he is he isn't able to stay there. Basically instead of getting pancaked in 2 rounds like he did at 154 I think he'd have been good enough to survive to about 5 or 6, but Tommy Hearns is a nightmare matchup for him, and knocks him out almost always.

I think Duran would do well to win a round.

As much as I love Roberto Duran I have to concur with this because some men just have your number no matter what. As great as Willie Pep was for example he could do virtually nothing against Sandy Saddler. As great as Sam Langford was he could do virtually nothing against Harry Wills. As great as Joe Frazier was he could do virtually nothing against George Foreman.

That being said I think it goes without saying that Roberto Duran had the far greater career or far greater resume than Tommy Hearns. He just simply couldn't beat Tommy Hearns because Tommy Hearns, in part, was practically a giant in those weight classes.

I agree with both of you. If Hearns fought Duran 100 times. Hearns wins 99 of them.

The peak Duran wouldn't be able to outbox Hearn, but he would have chances overwhelm him in the Hagler style. The longer it goes, the more chances for Hearns to finish Duran will appear.

I try not to ever let ridiculously biased superfans affect my perception of somebody. Duran is one of my all time favorites, and I respect the sh*t out of him. But admittedly this thread was made primarily just to f*ck with Elmer a little

I'm not going to make a thread about it because it's obvious, but I will add this.

Roberto Duran vs Arturo Gatti.

Gatti is my all time favorite. Yet I have no issue in saying conclusively that he would've gotten absolutely mauled by Duran. One should never let their appreciation of somebody cloud their better judgment.

I have no idea what the f*ck you're talking about.

If you got an issue with someone and MUSt insult 'em Call him an asshole then. Call him a dickhead. Call him a jerkass. Call him a piece of sh*t.

That's 4 suggestions for you.

Just stay away from the previous insult alright? In South America it's probably still fine, in North America it's not. Ok?

No, it seems to me that you like them to insult me, but when I fire back, I am wrong. Why are you this wicked in judgment. Ain't you gotta be right?

I called them like I see them. To me, they're a two faggots and pussy holes that drew a dick to get their attention. It backfired.

Just thinking about a dick, then draw it and then put it in a forum tells me that he is bonafide batty bwoy! Meaning, he likes men's ass, not pussy.

Well look. I don't have to prove to you what I mean.

I mean what I say, and I say what I mean. That's all you need to know. You wanna call him a pussy? You wanna call him a punkass? You wanna call him a bitchboy? You wanna call him a douchebag? Knock yourself out. Won't hurt my feelings, and I'm sure it won't hurt his.

Frankly, I don't figure it'll hurt his feelings if you call him the other thing either, but it's a bad look for the forum to have people bandying that word around, and I'm asking you to simply choose different words. I think that's perfectly reasonable.

I ain't chaging words, shiit! You're saying that it hurting his feelings? Well, it seems to me that you are at his side. You're not being honest nor true in judging. You saw that he started calling me names. You saw that he drew a pic of a dick. What grown man does that? Tell me. What grown man does that?

It backfired and now he is running out like a pussy. I don't give 2 cents who likes me or not. I call things like I see it. You diss me first, I diss back. Simple as that.

But, answer me this question: What grown man and straight would draw a dick on a forum?

That tells me two things:
1. He is a faggot pussy
2. Or he loves dicks.

Which one of the two he is?

Is there a preference? Ain't everybody should be equal?

Ain't the moderator had to stop it as soon as possible when things get out of hand?

The word doesn't have nothing to do with the argument. He is dissing. I am dissing back. Why you didn't stop him from telling me those words? Is he your best friend or something?

Are we in a partial forum? Or he is the king of England? Which of the two, moderator?

Now, who on here is also a moderator?
