Great fight.

I didnt have it as close but thats only the second time Bert has looked uncomfortable at times througout a fight.

Terrible refereeing. Good corner stoppage.

did tundee stop that on his own? or did yarde ask him to stop it when he was in the corner.... either way it didnt look like yarde really wanted to be there after he went down, and bert was hunting.

Still would of liked to see yarde just throw 7 or 8 absoute bombs and gamble out a final exchange.

That aside, great effort from yarde. his carrer is weird but he gave it a fair crack.

Great fight. Completely and utterly biased refereeing.

good fight for sure, yarde getting broken down most of the time but was resilient and each time he looked in trouble he came back, saw the ending coming for a while and thankfull yarde not too hurt

He was holding the centre of rhe ribg from round 6, I wasn't scoring but thought he was in there.

I agree, BUT Yarde was genuinely close to winning that fight at times.

Berterbiev must be made from titanium, Brilliant fight and yardes stock would have risen from that .

Nothing whatsoever against Beterbiev, but he’s hardly unbeatable is he.

But you absolutely have to be able to do 12 hard rounds to have a realistic chance, and Yarde falls some way short of that.

Great fight. Even greater when I turned the commentary off. What’s the point of bunce shouting for 30 seconds between rounds.

Good corner stoppage too. Yarde was going to get lit up.

Yarde much improved.

He was never gonna last 12 rounds. He got a second wind during the early mid rounds.. but then he kept getting caught on the ropes.

Landed some good shots.

He needs more fights like this. To prepare for fights like this.

I had Beterbiev up by 1 before this round.

What a fight!! :box:

British refs stop away fighters quickly and try and get home fighters badly knocked out by allowing them to continue when it should be stopped.

disagree, he won some rounds but was getting broken for the most part. bert's jab was a great weapon and any time yarde landed a big shot bert would maul him more with several more in the corner. look at the 5th or 6th....yarde lands a big right that ppl say wins him the round, despite bert proceeding to shake him up with like 10 in the corner. yarde was getting more credit for his shots than bert was i felt

stats had bert landing more in all but one round.............that's what i saw too. that ending was inevitable for me

If you score a fight on who was busier - he was in front.

It depends how you score fights, for me personally Yarde was in front, he was busier but he was losing steam the further the fight went.

Yarde did well but was still never close to winning it and Beterbiev was always going to catch up to him.

ps referee was biased lol

Yarde did what others did.

He managed to win some rounds.

But in a 12 round fight.. you gotta be in it the whole way.

Iv heard alot about english coms been bias to yarde. My "legit sorce" had ESPN commentary and they were quite pro bert. especialy early, (i thought bert was winning early but they were kinda ignoring the bits of good yarde did)..

Interesting that this fight will be remembered very differently by people that watched the same fight but with different networks because even for hardcores it gets in your head, but for casuals it just tells them what they are watching...

Yarde was rocked way more than Bert.

Yarde looked to go down on a couple of occasions.
