Tommy Hurricane Jackson put up really good fights against Floyd Patterson, but beyond that I don't know much about the man other than him being Rocky Marciano's chief sparring partner. The story goes that Marciano was such a tremendous body puncher that one day in training camp he hit Tommy Jackson to the body so hard that he double over and vomited all over the canvas.

As for Mitch Green it's difficult to assess him when the bulk of his career has been overshadowed by the rather psychotic episode he had trying to fight Mike Tyson on the street in order to parlay that into a title shot with Mike Tyson. Green at one point had all the talent and size and ability one could want in a heavyweight prospect but his career was cut short because of drug problems.

I think it goes the whole 10 rounds but I think Tommy Jackson was one of those guys who was clearly a step above Mitch Green. So I'll say Tommy Jackson by competitive unanimous decision.

The Hurricane would outwork Blood on the outside and inside to take a decision.
