I think the first Yarde fight flattered Arthur & I don’t think he’s anything better than British level & would expect Bolotniks to win this especially with a decent amount of time to prepare.

10 rounds or 12 rounds?

Some of the body shots Bolotniks sunk into Buatsi would have had a lot of light heavyweights over.

Is it just me, or do Pat Barrett trained boxers not throw enough punches?

Zelfa does doesn't he ?
I think it's just Arthur - he's big at the weight and not really a duracell bunny type. His style basically.

"Not approved"? By whom? Can't be a quality issue, given his record, so surely can't be the sanctioning body. Is it an injury (although Boxrec lists Bolotnik fighting on 1 April against Craig Richards)? Maybe he's failed a check weigh, if they are done for IBO titles? Anybody know why it is off?

I get that. But my point was about the Everythingboxing tweet which said the fight was "not approved". That's a bit different from him deciding to fight someone else a week later, which is why I was wondering what it meant.

Amazingly I think the IBO have a rule whereby someone has to be in their top 30 or something to challenge for their title and Bolotniks wasn’t in there so wasn’t approved.

Yeh, you'd think that IBO would want their 3% commission and put him in there.

Thank you - interesting to hear that. Rare days indeed when a sanctioning body rejects a pretty good challenger.
