Frazier wins. Tyson wouldn't be able to outbox Frazier, his chances to win would be in catching Frazier on the way inside. In close quarters Frazier would break Mike down. The longer it goes, the less chances remains for Tyson.

Frazier by dec or late TKO.

Tyson by KO inside of 3 rds. Frazier on his best night ever is still too hittable and combined with Tyson's speed and power it spells bad matchup for Joe.

Right hook body, right uppercut chin combination TKOs Joe before the halfway mark.

Tyson beat Frazier's son Marvis by TKO in the first round. I know that wouldn't necessarily be an indicator for how this fight would go. Tyson knocked out Frazier's son with an uppercut to the head. There is a YouTube video of the Fight Night Champion video game of Tyson vs. Frazier with Tyson winning by TKO in round five which I know is not a 100% accurate simulation. One of the comments stated that "Frazier's style was perfect for Tyson. Whenever Frazier ducked forward, he was susceptible to uppercuts, and Tyson loved constantly throwing powerful uppercuts." He also commented that Frazier did not fare well against Foreman who had punching power. However, there are two other simulation videos of Tyson vs. Frazier which shows Frazier winning by knockout in round three and six.

I think Frazier was at his best against Muhammad Ali in the Fight of the Century, but I do not think Ali was at his best after the three year layoff. Ali had two fights after the layoff prior to fighting Frazier, so ring rust is not an excuse, but the layoff probably affected him. I think this mythical fight of Tyson vs. Frazier is one of those matchups where either of them could win, but that Tyson would win 2 out of 3.

I'd take Tyson rather early; I don't like Frazier's chin.

Mike Tyson wins by KO within the first 4 rounds, or gets stopped late by Frazier.

I'd lean toward Frazier. I think Frazier's heart is gonna win out over Tyson's chin. I don't think Frazier was exactly glass jawed either, Foreman knocked him all around, but that was f*cking Foreman. He would've done that to a lot of guys, and did.

Have never heard anyone question Frazier's chin. It was good, not great, similar to Tyson's. Frazier was usually a slow starter. If he got through the first couple of rounds, he would probably have won. He was tougher.

I thought Manuel Ramos rocked him . Also, his defense troubles me . Quarry tagged him a lot in round 1 of their first bout and I think if that was Tyson hitting him that much, Joe's not lasting long.

If Smokin' Joe survives the first 5 rounds, is all over for Iron Mike. The longer the fight, the better for the great Smokin' Joe Frazier.

The great Mike Tyson's best chance is to catch Smokin' Joe early and often. If not, is all over because heart, will, determination and stamina would be in Frazier's favor.

Notoriously slow starter vs super fast and vicious starter. Tyson early.

Bonevena had prime Joe down a few times.

Bonavena lost nearly a shotout to the prime version of Frazier. The first Bonavena fight was the first test of the raw Frazier. I'd say, Frazier reached his prime by the Chuvalo bout.
