Salvador wins by close UD. Close but clear

Same. Rocky wouldn't do as well as he did vs Pedroza,. Both of those fights could have gone either way
Re: Salvador Sanchez vs Rocky Lockridge In 1982
Rocky had speed, workrate and talent to trouble anyone. However, at 126, this early '80s Lockridge would gas, and his insipid finish vs Pedroza cost him dearly on the cards. I think that after a very bright start, Lockridge might start getting picked apart by Sanchez, maybe punished and stopped between the 12th and 15th.
I liked the 130-pound version of Lockridge better, although he seemed to lose all energy late in the Gomez fight (considered a robbery loss, but it seemed to me that Rocky threw it away). Extra weight and maturity allowed him to give Chavez a stern test in a very good fight. I like the Lockridge who beat Knight in a 15 round punch marathon and had those two brilliant battles with a prime Tony Lopez (Lockridge could've got the nod in the first fight, due to that knockdown).
