Go Briggs!!

I hope Briggs gets his shot at Wlad. And if Wlad won't take him, then hopefully Valuev will, after he KO's Barrett.

I'd like to see Shannon get a shot. He's an entertaining character in the division, and probably more of a name too than many of the other 'champs'. He can hit but is a bit fragile so should make for a great fight if he faces Wlad.

If Briggs doesn't get his title shot, how about him vs. Danny Williams!?

Yep, that was a robbery... I remember when they were trying to build Briggs up as the next big thing... I saw some footage of him meeting Ali and when asked what nickname he would give Briggs had he fought him Ali replied... "Pretty Lady!".... which pretty much sums up Briggs career since then... nice hair, shame about the boxing!... :box: :box: :box: :TU: 8)

Your going back a bit. That was at the time of The Holyfield Holmes fight 14 year ago. Briggs was then managed by Mike Marley and trained by Teddy Atlas.

Briggs physical condition is deplorable.

Yeah I remember that. I think I saw it on a documentary devoted to him as the next big thing, rather than a piece on a sports show.
