Of course, the highly aggressive Dempsey had a chance to KO the chinny Norton early, but Ken obviously was much craftier than Willard. Norton would duck under Dempsey punches, use his cross-armed shell and counter Dempsey, who was leaving pretty many openings. Overall, Norton had a significantly superior skillset in comparison to Dempsey. Eventually, Ken would outbox Jack.

Norton by dec or late TKO.

I feel like the longer this fight goes the more it would favor Norton, but Dempsey would be a handful in the early rounds. Norton would probably be strong enough, and crafty enough to hang in there and start to break Dempsey down as it goes on, but it's hard to imagine he doesn't get dropped heavily in some of the early rounds if nothing else.

I think Dempsey would win more often than not. Either by KO or hard fought decision.

Dempsey with his quicker hands, speed and power would outfight Norton to either take a decision or late round stoppage even if Dempsey ever weigh at heavy as Norton.

Hard for me to say considering that Ken Norton never fought someone with that swarming style who actually was world class. I tend to think if the fight went any real length it would favor Ken Norton, but it's largely dependent on weather Ken Norton could weather the storm for the first five rounds or so. Dempsey was just so relentless and hit so hard that it's hard for me to want to lay a strong bet that Ken Norton could make it into the middle or late rounds but I definitely would put a small bet down that he could have.

Norton has a size, skill and strength advantages here. As others have said, Dempsey is dangerous early but the longer it goes the better for Norton. Norton's weak chin is probably exaggerated a bit as well. He got knocked out 4x in his career but being knocked out by Foreman and Shavers is what would happen to most HWs in history if the were able to land.

I think Norton would prevail, Futch would make sure he was prepared and had a game plan to limit any damage could do on the inside. He would tie Jack up, use his strength and weight to push him around a bit and beat him over the distance.
