He was better than advertised and gave it a good go.
Yeah. He gave it a good go. Shame about the cut.

Riley’s not bad but I question whether he’s got the power to progress past British level.

Tony Sims' lad up next.
Surely too much class for Chelli...?

Chelli is tough enough to last 10 probably, but I'm surprised the odds are so close :maybe:

Not sure what happened to their aim to start main events earlier (like 9-10pm). Starting the 10 round co-main at 10.10pm is never going to help.

Noticed at the weigh in Sims was looking up slightly at Chelli. Sims listed by boxrec at 6ft1 and Chelli at 6ft0.

American's at Super middleweight are notorious for bullshitting about their heights. I remember thinking Andre Dirrell and Andre Ward were both a good 2 inches shorter than what they were listed at.

Yep its rubbish. Ill be sleeping by the main event tbh and the show has been fine. Started an hour too later

They hyped this fight up as don't blink. Neither have landed a thing really.

I remember betting on Sims to lose that fight he lost years ago, one of those americans who were being hyped more in hope than anything else.

I could have done without the Dubois mismatch and feel we might get the same in the main but the rest has been decent. Who knew that having 2 boxers trying to win can lead to some decent fights.

I do wonder whether they’re missing Adam Smith with things like this.

Good comparison. He’s a very frustrating watch and he was in that fight he lost too.

Don’t like the fact that Adam Azim pouts during his interviews.

Maybe but it’s not inspiring. Which fights were any good?

I quite liked the Denny fight and the Riley fight was far more competitive than I was expecting.

I wouldn’t say either were really good but they weren’t bad fights either.

Sims is such a waste, dancing and posing while the humble trier Chelli just fights.

Well done Chelli, Sims should retire - he's a gym fighter that freezes.

Really good win for Chelli there.

Hoping Azim does a showreel KO and I can go the fornicate to sleep. 6.5/10 for the show.
