What Happens In Sparring Should Stay There !!!

Post by Joyce Talks Boxing »

Anyone that's fought in the ring will understand this comment.

Say what you want about rolly or his trainer, but what's happening here is 100% wrong and breaking every code in Boxing. What happens in sparring stays there. I've seen a British Heavyweight Champion get smashed in sparring and then defend his title 6 weeks later. Some world champions don't spar well at all. This is terrible on so many levels. I've boxed as a amatuer (42 fights) I've sparred and trained with pros years back. If this happend we would be told to leave and not return

Agree. With today's technology it's hard for someone not to leak it, especially if they get paid for it, or in this case probably hated the guy getting KO'd. Lock down the gym I guess?

Look at what they did to Kell.
Kin Ell, good friends he has :shame:

Should sparring video leak out ?
It depends, if you have an open camp then why not.
If you're an insider and record secretly then no.
I'm old fashioned and believe there's ways and means of getting yourself across and being effective.
Cheating someone I'm not with that.

It really depends how secretive you really want things to be. I know for a fact if somebody leaked out anything during a major championship training camp somebody would get sued for every dime they had so very rarely does anything ever get leaked. But regular training sessions just to stay in some semblance of shape in between fights? Who cares. It's not important.

Based on everyone's reaction after they dropped him, it seemed like this was a bit of a grudge sparring session. I don't think this was a friendly spar. These guys looked like they were fighting.

The "Mayweather Boxing Club" gym is well known for grudge fights, trash talking, bullying and over the top "sparring" sessions.
