5 Minute Rounds

Is this something that all combat sports should be thinking to go towards? Less but longer rounds does intrigue me. I know boxing would never change but I definitely think it is a way that MT/KB should look at going. I don't think 5x3 mins is quite enough time.

I honestly don't see why not considering I have seen exhibitions that were one minute rounds or two minute rounds so I don't see why you couldn't do the reverse proposition of 5-minute rounds. I remember the original UFC having no rounds or time limits.
