Do you think AJ deserved the stoppage?
I thought the ref stopped it early but I felt the stoppage was coming. From memory I had AJ winning every round before it.
I thought Joshua looked pedestrian against Takam. Very non inspiring performance.
He won. Yes it was quite premature stoppage, But he did win.
He just did not look good doing it.
The referee robbed us of a good fight with the no infighting against Parker.
Closer fight than most obviously remember. Clear win for Joshua but could of been way closer if the referee allowed Parker to fight his fight. Something we will never know
I didn’t think AJ was at his best but he was winning comfortably and then got the dubious stoppage.

I disagreed that Chisora showed how to deal with him when in reality Chisora took a beating for most of the fight before landing a massive shot.

If money is halting negotiations, Usyk should come out in the media with a 'winner takes all' offer. Tyson should accept that if he truly believes he'd beat the midget easily.

He's no midget! He's the same size as 6ft 3" 220lbs Paris Fury!

Hopefully The Gaslight King signs up for this fight rather than an another pointless Wilder fight or Ngannou freak show before Paris' stunt double gets tied up in WBA, IBF and WBO mandatory defences.

Joyce said he would take the fight as soon as it was muted. Fury said it was too soon, then fought Chisora.

I thought Joyce said Dec 3 was too soon?
Anyway, why do you guys think Fwank is going to all the trouble of meeting Usyks manager tomorrow when he has no intention of making the fight? And he also has zero knowledge of anyone talking to Wilder? Help me out, you guys in the know.

I have no idea what Fwank is doing. I think Fury's camp will take the fight under certain conditions, I'm not sure if those are reasonable.

Joyce said he'd take it, Fury said it was too soon in Joyce's career. Make of that what you will. Fury could have fought Joyce, but chose Chisora.

Ok, Keith. I know he fought Del. I’m pretty sure I could find the quote where Joyce said it was too soon…
You should listen to Fwank on Talksport today. He seems hellbent on the fight taking place despite everyone on here knowing different. I don’t get it.

Joyce said he would take the fight and according to my source, was told not to say it again as Fury didn't want the fight. Fury then chose between Chisora and Charr after using Joshua's name to raise more awareness.

I know someone pretty close to all this and she says that Fury has said he absolutely will not budge on certain things. We'll see how it plays out.

Personally, I think Usyk is by far Fury's most difficult fight, it's a fight that I think he loses. If that happens, Bob and Fwank no longer have the Fury show. From a business point of view, they may want him to take easier to make fights.

All of that said, if Usyk signed with Uncle Bob tomorrow, the fight would be made faster than you can say, 'I promote both of them, win, lose or draw.

Krassyuk is going to deal with George. I believe it’s him doing the main negotiations.

Promoters needs to be more honest if their charge is neglecting fights or hampering negotiations, after all it's the promoters who take a lot of the flak, I've heard Eddie mention 258 scuppping one or 2 fights, also Joe G has stopped several fights coming off, I'm sure Frank and George are hoping the Usyk fight comes off but if Fury is being unreasonable let the punters know,. If Fury truly believes in his stance at the negotiating table then surely he won't mind Warren coming out and saying it, I'm sure the fans will make up their own minds

Maybe Fury has a point but it does go against the the man of the people shtick who'll fight for free, his silence is deafening

Despite the one or two voices on here stating differently, the People's Champ nonsense has long gone. You only need to read the comments on ANY Fury social media post.

*Didn't someone post an example here recently and it was 90% negative of Fury.

I’m sure Frank is keen to get it done. He didn’t say much different though today compared to what he said 2 weeks ago other than he’s meeting Krassyuk and there are still a couple of things to be agreed.

One of them is probably purse splits as Krassyuk is wanting 50% for Usyk whilst Bob has already said Tyson wants a bigger split if it’s in the U.K.

We’re 10 weeks since the Chisora fight. They still haven’t agreed splits or location it seems despite Frank being keen on the fight and Usyk’s team usually being pretty straightforward with things.

I think Fury does want the fight but he also perhaps needs to reign in his financial expectations.

Of course the Warren’s want to make the fight. I doubt anyone is disputing that.

Doesn’t mean Fury does.

Joshua beat Takam / Parker then Povetkin in the 18 months after Vlad - before taking on Ruiz JR instead of Miller .

It is clear he hasnt been right since the 1st Ruiz fight but nowt to do with getting decked in the Klitchko fight.
I disagree. He looked terrible v Takam and Parker too.
 u would say that

I’m surprised anyone on here was pleased with the Parker or Takam fights, even more so with hindsight.

They weren't great fights to watch but I wouldn't say Joshua looked terrible. He looked like he was trying to box, use his jab and keep his range more than before which doesn't always lead to entertaining fights but he won conclusively without taking many risks.

joshua won those easily and looked fine, with far less issues than say fury-wallin. people were just at a stage then where they expected him to lay out dudes every fight and aj always attracts melodramatic reactions. it's funny to see people talk about the parker ref like parker is some type of inside physical beast, aj is the better of the two in close

i dont think consensus is that people were super pleased with aj or anything, but he won them handily

Joshua may not have dominated those fights, but he appears to be dominating this Fury v Usyk thread. It's not just Fury who's obsessed with the Bodybuilder.

Back on main topic, if Fury fights as sloppy as he did in the 3rd Wilder fight, Usyk will pick him off. As exciting a fight as it was, there were very little skills on display in that one, just 2 big heavies whaling away. Usyk's footwork and handspeed would pick holes in that version of Fury. A lighter, more boxer styled version of Fury would fare better.

The ref in the Parker fight hindered Joshua as much as Joe, he was terrible all round

I don’t think anyone on here said they were pleased with him in those fights. I just think it’s strange saying he looked ‘terrible’ in those fights or that Chisora showed AJ how to do it against Takam.
