Re: Jake Paul vs. Tommy Fury | BT PPV - 26 February 2023
The PPV price announcement has not gone down well with traditional boxing fans.
One reacted: “No grown man will be interested in watching this surely?”
A second posted a meme which simply branded the price: “Shameless.”
Another sarcastically wrote: “Bargain! Surprised it ain’t £30. The future of boxing Tommy Fumbles.”
A fourth said: “Like anyone’s gonna pay for that, I’ll stick to streaming thanks.”
However there were a couple who reacted positively.
One put: “That’s actually decent value for once in 2023.”
And a second wrote: “Oh my god, let’s moan and b**** about the price. Don’t f***ing watch it then, it’s really that simple.”

I’m having a decent bet on Tommy. If it isn’t fixed he should have too much. Everyone, including people I know not from Manchester, says he is way better than he has shown. I’ll put a saver on a draw as well.

Fury should win but I don't think I've seen a prospect matched so poorly before.

Adam Saleh vs Evil Hero
I think they're on at Download this year.

Disagree. Some part of the motivation for paying to watch Tyson is the fact that you’re watching the best at what he does, a master of his craft. Even though the result was pretty much a foregone conclusion it’s still fun to watch him exhibit his skills.Nightmare Roy wrote: ↑17 Feb 2023, 04:46Better value than Fury Chisora to be fair, ar lease the outcome is unknown

It's not fun when you gotta pay nearly £30 for it..CaptainSpacerod wrote: ↑18 Feb 2023, 05:43Disagree. well he has a deeper boxing background with 12 am fights and apparently turns into earnie shavers in sparring.............but then again he's also fought crap and hasnt looked good doing so, is also more influencer than boxer, and paul's side have every reason to protect him from a loss yet have gone forward with this fight twice now.......so who knows

Great value, I believe McGregor was at one point against Mayweather, (absolute madness) it's all about off setting risk if a bet has been backed heavily, so I'm guessing Paul's fans have lumped on him.

Currently I'm thinking Fury will come straight at Paul and put it on him from the off, putting the fight out of reach for the fatigued Paul by the halfway stage.

Sam Jones responding to a Twitter user questioning Tommy's power - "I base my opinion on watching him knock out heavyweights in the gym at fifteen years old".

When quizzed on wether the pressure of defending the Fury honour would be difficult for Tommy, Andy Lee said “the families number one priority is money!”.

And I think looking at the size of him if he doesn't blow him out early he'll gas himself .
Too muscle bound to last the pace .
