Lara wins by TKO towel comes in after wood makes it to his feet unsteady after being put down very heavily.

Wood may have made it through the round but he would have got pancaked, there was no coming back from being concussed that badly.

Damn, it was always a gamble leaving himself open to that left hook.

He’ll be kicking himself when he watches this back though.

Just decided i was going to cash out my 20 into 70 at the end of the round... and then downnn goes wood.

Badly hurt but i dont think that towl should of gone in. Bell would of rang befor the ref got them started again i think, then Davis could of assessed his man for a full minute befor deciding.

Lara took over in Round 7 and then finished it.

Really good effort by Wood before then. He was put of it and the ref work was terrible after it.

When you have money on Lara to win in rounds 1-6 & he stops him in 7 :brick:

Fair play to Wood, his stock went up in my opinion. He showed more than I thought he had. Always seemed a stupid voluntary to take. Could’ve got him & Warrington easy wins & then had a big pay day in the summer. It’s a long way back to the top for a 34 year old featherweight

1. The ref should have checked Wood properly.
2. Lara should have been in a neutral corner.
3. Ben Davison should have known how long was left in the round.

Good call from Ben. Wood was about to get seriously hurt.

Lara is nuts.

up 5 rounds to 1, couple of seconds to go. lara not in his corner, so ref would of had to send him back, by the time that all happens its the end of the round and davis could of assessed his man properly.
