Mark Taffet said they could still get a deal made with Jonas. Joe Gallagher then came out and said it was with Boxxer to get sorted.

I’d imagine both Jonas and Shields will want loads whilst the reality is whilst it’s a good women’s fight it’s probably not one that sells amazingly. Jonas doesn’t have the support that Marshall had and also I don’t think many will think it’ll be competitive.

Surely if it’s in Liverpool, they’ll come out to support. They usually do.

It’s all relative. If they’re both wanting 7 figures then it’s hard to make it work.

They sold great for the Marshall fight because it was a bigger fight and the tickets were extremely cheap.

Its still the biggest fight for either of them, but id rather see them take a couple of interim fights. Sav marshal go win some 168 or even heavyweight titles if you can convince a gov body.... then sheilds hunt 154 titles, come back and meet at 160 end of the year... thats what id like to see.

Savannah starting to come out with the excuses… wrong tactics, Peter Fury’s fault etc. Nothing to do with her awful footwork and head movement, all down to the tactics and trainer.

Also seems to think a rematch sells out a 52,000 seater football stadium which is funny.

She showed good skills but Shields just had the more atheticism. More speed, better reflexes and just boxing to a high IQ gameplan. Sav landed her fair share and they didn't have the effect that people thought. The outboxing (running) gameplan was the one that worked in the Olympics for Sav to snatch a close decision. If shes trying to go back to that style of trying to nick a fight then I don't think that will work either.

Just not good enough to beat Shields and I was one of the people predicting she would win that fight.
