Is there anyway the forum can be updated so you can click a 'like' 'dislike' or 'agree' button on posts other people have made?

Hi - what's the plan/timeline for adding in muay thai/kickboxing/MMA records and star ratings for fighters? I see that the options are available in the dropdown menus on the schedule and results pages, would love to be able to sort by 5 star rated bouts for those sports as well.

Yes, BoxRec is ready to show ratings for them, but the numbers of bouts recorded in BoxRec with the exceptions of box-pro and box-am are not large enough until now - I guess 10000 at least would be necessary to make sense ... :verysad: :maybe:

Code: Select all

box-pro	2448380
box-am	362472
kb-pro	6994
mma-pro	4365
kb-am	2826
bk-pro	1741
mt-pro	1306
mt-am	604
mma-am	469

Is there a legit ongoing effort to add the backlog of results and future bouts, or is it not really much of a priority?

Just a suggestion but if you put somebody on your ignore list they should not be able to see anything that you write. Just my opinion. As if your account has completely disappeared from their perspective.

i mean, if someone is one your ignore list, why does it matter? surely you would've stopped reading and responding to their posts by that time?

It is simply not sufficient because it does not stop the harassment or the trolling or the bullying because people will continue to look up your old posts and repost them or other people you don't have blocked will join in on the charade and quote whatever you say and then the people you have blocked just continue for days and days.

Therefore in my opinion we should be given the option to click on whoever we don't want seeing our posts at all. Or that whoever we block simply would not be allowed to see any of our posts as if our account is completely gone.

You don't need anybody's help to ignore someone. Or at least you shouldn't.

If somebody's response pisses you off, just stop talking to 'em. Pretty simple solution.

Limit characters in posts. We have several novel writers. While merely skip those posts, they are truly annoying. Thank you.

Might there be a way to sort all fights by star rating? I know, for example, we can pull up the 5* rated bouts from the current month, but is there or could there be a way to pull up all 5* rated bouts in the database?

Hi. Can you correct the result for the fight on 24/2/2023 in Thailand at Sitpholek Gym. My name is Brady Cummins and I lost by KO in the 2nd round. You have the result as a KO win to me. Your help correcting this is much appreciated

Thanks

The results page should go back 6 months, rather than just back to the start of the month.

Hey Boxrec can you do sth with the color of win/loss buttons? I'm color blind and they are absolutely indistinguishable for me! :brick:

Does this go here?

Frank Sanchez has a fight this weekend, it's listed on BoxRec.

He doesn't have the asterisk next to his name.

Can anyone link me to a way to suggest amendments for a Fighters record. Noticed a lot of missing fights for some amateur boxers.
