I had to chuckle because Paul's only 5 pounds heavier than I am. I don't know why but I expected these guys to be a lot bigger than me. I wonder if there will be any rehydration or if this is basically their natural weight.

I think both of them are quite undersized for Cruiserweight. They could come in at super middle with a proper weight cut.

my guess is both are around 195lb. I wish instead of advocating for MMA fighters union (good cause but i dont care...) jake paul was advocating for a 185lb division in boxing. The gap between 175-200 is a joke. I feel so bad for boxers that find themselves in mid 190s and have to chose between being undersized cruisers or weight drained 175s...... Then you got guys at 112/115/118/122 that can move up with a big meal or move down with a big sh!t...

Fury should win easy. Shenanigans seem to happen in most of Paul’s fight. Fake knock outs Fake knock downs. Sad our sport is here.

well his name is fury, so you'd think, but he admits he was never serious about boxing and looks pretty sh!t too. last fight was dreadful vs a 0-1 non boxer who looked the size of a super welter. weve seen boxers with famous names, like rahman, get beaten by novelty opponents too.. incidentlly, the guy who beat rahman just got ktfo by some beer belly in bareknuckle boxing

i think theyre made for each other, two social media/influencers who do a bit of boxing

I'm rooting for Tommy Fury. I respect what his brother Tyson Fury, one of the Greatest Heavyweights of Alltime has done. Having a Bro like Tyson Fury, Tommy should know how to box and how to fight and hes probably got the best sparring and advice in the world. I've put a bit of money on Tommy Fury. Jake Paul is a tough dude, beat Anderson Silva on a decision, KO'd Tyron Woodley and Ben Askren and Nate Robinson (former NBA pro). He's never fought a legitimate boxer though. Tommy Fury is a legitimate boxer and would have learned through his Bro Tyson the Heavyweight world Champ.

I like Tommy Fury on late KO or decision.

How can I watch this fight? Anyone got a link? or can private message, PM me? Thank you.

May the best man win!

By the time I wake up after doing third shift I'll already know who won or lost that's one upside of it being held so far away rather than waiting all day for the result.

I think Tommy Fury by nature is a really soft spoken man who is hard to rile up and I think he is trying hard to give the impression that he's pissed or upset so it don't come across really as genuine or it looks like he's intimidated but I don't think that's the case he just isn't good at playing a hard ass.

We'll see what happens but Jake Paul certainly has proven that big fights can be made fast and easy and that there is a platform strictly from selling fights through the internet. So called boxing promoters and fighters can take a note from how he operates. As to his actual boxing ability I would say he is certainly journeyman level.

This is one of those days. I can just tell. Every instinct is telling me to bet the farm on Fury, I won’t , and then I’ll be bitching about it

Fury is obviously not great, but he’s probably been fighting since he was a kid. When did Paul pick up a pair of gloves, in his 20s?? He’s an actor and attention-seeker. My only concern is judging skulduggery.

hasim rahman jr started boxing as a kid, had 100 amateur fights (tommy had something like 10, i dont think any as a senior) , still lost to a f@cking nfl player...............a name only goes so far. .tommy just isnt that good and like paul is more into influencing than boxing. he may well win but i think it's an evenish matchup

anderson silva is the most accomplished boxer either of them fought

The eye test suggests a similar level, I just think there is more stock to be put into the countless more hours of gym time Fury must have experienced compared to Paul, not to mention the experience of sparring with Tyson which has to count for a lot when all you have in the opposite corner is a fkin YouTube influencer

Someone leaves a script of the fight.

It’s already been confirmed to be fake.

"The eyes suggest a similar level" - agree.
So why would you "bet the farm" against the guy who is doing this because he wants to, has become totally obsessed with it, when he could easily do something else.., vs the guy who does because (basically) his dad makes him ?

It's very tough to call and the betting (just) edges Paul, because he seems to want it more and it's his show. Seems reasonable.
The only person on this forum with a really good idea of how good Tommy is/could be won't tell us.
However much I keep pushing him !

I have to say that if Tommy looses this one it is highly likely that it was fixed.

I don't really know either of those guys, but this is getting crazy.
This Jake Paul guy is the favorite in this fight and even if he wasn't, in boxing there are alot of upsets and we don't call them "fixed" afterwards.

That being said, I watched a little bit of them both fighting. I can see this Paul guy getting the W.
He has a punchable face, but I don't get all the hate he is getting.

I’m not saying there’s no element of trickery going on here, although I would guess it’s real. But that script is clearly fornicating fake just to shut on jake…

For one it’s fornicating stupid, you can’t script a swollen eye…

How in TF can a youtuber vs a reality TV personality be PPV? A lot of idiots will pay I guess, but this is a joke.
