I paid for it… enjoyed it to be honest even though I’m not a fan of YouTube bouts.

I didn’t really view it as a professional boxing contest, more two high profile guys (who have shown some dedication) settling some beef.

Think I watched a different fight to a lot of you though. It was a pretty poor standard, but I thought Fury won wide and boxed within himself.

Now Fury well he's been around boxing all his life he was by far the better boxer , but yet he could'nt put the novice away , even got dropped by him alls he shown was he's going no where and has soon has he fights someone remtly capable he's gonna get a hiding , for a kid who has spent his life involved and had access to some of the best sparring you could get , he just showed how bad he is , so so so many mistakes a good boxer would pick apart , no power because his technique is shite , shown upo really how bad a trainer his dad is and that he's not a very good boxer , , seen better ameteurs who would tear him a new arshole on the bulgarian international championships this week ,
You have to take how dumb Tommy is into consideration.
This is s guy who wears slip on shoes because laces give him fits.
A guy who couldn't make cheese on toast, or toast at 22 years of age.
The fact he was circling in any direction, even if it was the wrong direction is risky enough for hin to become disorientated and dizzy.

Diaz is quite a polished boxer isn’t he?
Nope. He's sparred with plenty of professional boxers but all he does is throw straight one-twos and has a good gas tank. His defence isn't up to much in MMA but would probably help with having boxing gloves with the way he blocks. Poor footwork aswell. He's also way past it and naturally competes at 155 lbs.

Watched the highlights again, jake paul hardly landed a right clean hand, got one in the first round and thats about it. left hand did a bit witch was nice. his best shots were probably:

-A overhand right 1:08 left 1st

-an upjab 2:24 left in the 3rd,

-a left hook 1:21 left in the 5th

-left hook 2:55 left in the 8th

- a jab KD 2:40 left in the 8th.

If i was MVP promotions Id have them all in super slowmoe 4k all over instagram calling for the rematch by now.... someones asleep at the wheel... Is a bit concerning when you only have 5 good shots in a fight though haha.

Re: Fury's power, he almost pulls his punches in combination, wary of what might sneak through if he commits. Which could be a fight-ender from plenty, so his logic's sound. If you look at the Furys collectively, Wilder II, Sexton and Whyte are notable exceptions to the rule.

With his reach handicap Paul was taking most of the gambles, but headhunting with his right way too much. I think he's capable of winning the rematch if he develops the fundamentals that served him well with his lefthand counters. Cool his jets and stop gagging for the knockout.

He's about as good as we thought, I'd say, but this fight lowered Fury's stock on the pro scene.

The fight sucked. Both are amateurish.

Tommy won fairly. Paul deserved only three rounds: 5,6 and 8.

The referee sucked, both deductions weren't fair, he made the second one to equal the fight after the first one.

No surprise, the decision was right. There was an aim to make it close in order to promote the rematch.

There was a Love Island challenge where the blokes hatd to make dinner for their dates. Dummy wanted to make cheese on toast.
Turned out he didn't know how to make toast, or melt cheese. So his date got raw bread (no butter) and a slab of cheese on it with a squirt of tomato sauce.
I kid you not.

Good on them both, they made money and got out of the ring with their health.

Jake Paul was 100% correct, at this moment in time, he is a winner in life.

Fury probably won't go much further. Most boxers don't, this will probably be his career highlight - a pretty good one.

It was a reasonable, even fight. The big names of boxing all came out to watch them, it looks like Saudi Arabia is going to become the Mecca of boxing as well as being the proper Mecca anyway.

Well done to both. :TU: boxing's 'good name' was tarnished long before they were born.

I enjoyed it...the undercard that is. Watched the main with one eye.
I had it on a newspaper subcription with some TV-rights.
I still like Michael Buffer. Reminds me of 80s and 90s. He does a lot more in these events than just announce (at least he used too).

Unfortunately it being a big success will just create more and more of these “fights”. I find it all cringy that Fury’s team were celebrating like he just beat Canelo,. Laughing all the way to the bank
