Idk. I think it's maybe easier to fight multiple people than it is one on one because it's a free for all. Regardless, I never said Bartley and Sam won. Bartley ended up in the hospital for like three months after that incident.margaret thatcher wrote: ↑27 Feb 2023, 04:35 2 guys beating up 20 armed attackers is action movie bullsh!t ........though in the movie it would be 2 women doing it lol

Re: Have you ever seen Jake Paul fight?
I've fought 3 or more people at the same time and that was often easier than fighting just one person. It all depends. If it's 10 loudmouths who can't really fight, I'd rather take my chances with the 10 than fight 1 who really could fight.margaret thatcher wrote: ↑27 Feb 2023, 05:09 so would you rather fight 1 guy, or 10 guys at the same time?

No because Roy Shaw has been exposed as a liar on different things, as well as Lenny McLean. Much as I like Bartley I'm sure there's exaggerations in his autobiography, but from my own research pretty much everything he said was backed up in newspapers. He seemed the most honest of the so called hard men.Nightmare Roy wrote: ↑27 Feb 2023, 05:13He'll believe anything he hears, probably thinks all those gangster hardmen books are gospel too.margaret thatcher wrote: ↑27 Feb 2023, 04:35 2 guys beating up 20 armed attackers is action movie bullsh!t ........though in the movie it would be 2 women doing it lol

His Dad John shouting, "Moment of truth!", has nothing to do with the event being called the truth but rather it's a quote from Bartley Gorman back in 1976 when he and his brother Sam took on 20 men armed with baseball bats and crowbars and bottles, etc. John was an 11-year-old boy at that time but he saw the event go down.![]()

You must not use YouTube lol. There's dozens and dozens of people beating up three or four or five people at a time. It's not as far fetched as you would think.Counter-puncher wrote: ↑27 Feb 2023, 05:49you do? really? ALL the time? knocking out 4 or 5 men?HomicideHenry wrote: ↑27 Feb 2023, 04:32 . i'm going to predict that, out of the 12 or 13 fights you had with 3 men, around 8 or 9 were easier than fighting 1 man. Is this about the right ratio, to express the exact scale of 'often'?
also what happened on the several occasions you fought 4 or 5 men (perhaps not quite as many times as you fought 3 men?), is the extra man on top of 3 the point that it becomes unmanageable, even for you? often?

well, i'm sure you will be providing (*checks maths*) at least 36, or perhaps 48 (after all, a dozen is 12, and 'dozens and dozens' suggests several dozens, at least 4 dozens ,right?) examples, then.HomicideHenry wrote: ↑27 Feb 2023, 05:52You must not use YouTube lol. Re: Have you ever seen Jake Paul fight?
ffs that video is as fake as it gets, did you even watch it
of course like pretty much every f@cking action scene, the group of attackers patiently wait in line 1 by 1, waiting for their mate to get beatdown (well, for the guy to do his love taps on them) before attacking , essentially turning it into a series of 1 on 1 fights lol
but anyway, im sure you can find a gorilla tap dancing on youtube too, a single guy can beat a group of attackers, ive seen at least one real instance of a guy dealing with 3 or 4 dudes, but it's a big disadvantage and it's pure fantasy when it comes to numbers like 10 on 1 or 20 on 2
too much hollywood and 'fighting man' myths

Re: Have you ever seen Jake Paul fight?
That's only the first one of many, mate, there are literally dozens AND dozens more he can find. I mean, it just so happens that the first one he linked was a dud, but never mind, we can rely on his providing just as many (if not even more) than the 'dozens and dozens' he mentioned, I am sure, simply because we all know homi never makes rash statements on the internet that he then fails badly to substantiate, it just wouldn't be like him.

your internet and youtube research skills need to step up as I am assured that there are literally 'dozens and dozens' of examples out there, fortunately homi is very good at 'doing his own research' so will be disproving you very shortlymargaret thatcher wrote: ↑27 Feb 2023, 06:05 , ive seen at least one real instance of a guy dealing with 3 or 4 dudes

I'm reminded of a youtube clip I once saw where an army vet took on 2 unskilled thugs at once and totally wiped the floor with them. I'll see if I can locate it.
Ah, here it is.
