Re: Martin Bakole's 'BIG' Fight (or is it merely a 'tune up' for a BIG fight?)
Skys Ideal plan is (im guessing), WBA order bakolie vs DDD>>Sky win purse bids>>Bakolie wins belt>>Sky do Bakolie vs Parker "world title fight">>Parker wins>>Sky lure Whyte or ruiz over for a "world title fight" rematch with parker... Then throw hughie or okolie in the mix...
Noone will fight Bakole for no reason, And bakole probably dosent want a high risk low reward opponent given his ranking.... so im not suprised they have had to settle with a weak tune up opponent but even i think it could of been better given the WBA ranking you can earn from him... just hope he is fighting again in the summer.

I dont think he is crazy valuable. But if he were to beat Bakolie for a "world title" his value would be back up a bit.... after that i think Parker vs whyte for the "world title" would be juicey for sky. and sky could probably use that to get options on whyte...
Obviosly if parker loses that builds Bakolie into somthing sky can use in his own right....
I dunno, sky probably dont have some master plan written down, but im sure they have an idea and are very keen to get bakole in with DDD for that belt and once they have it (if they win) use it for in house gain as much as possible. hence why they are tredding water with trash waiting for WBA to make fights for them.

After his desultory performance against Massey, I'd say his value is considerably reduced.

Re: Martin Bakole's 'BIG' Fight ..
That's right he had one in the same gym two weeks later against Viktor Faust (it was on YT but it seems to have disappeared)

NB: That image was taken prior to Billy's impressive weight loss

Agit Kabayel picked up the EBU (again) tonight in a surprisingly exciting fight for him, that could be decent fight for Bakole (assuming he beats the other lad of course)

granted he’s not top level but he is an undefeated Olympian who has boxed many many top names in the amateurs, no fool by an imagination1181567 wrote: ↑03 Mar 2023, 18:28'Leave him alone' what's the problem here exactly?
I'm merely asking where he is as he should be able to clarify if this (frankly disappointing encounter) is the 'BIG' fight he's been promising for weeks.
I think you're a very rude and unpleasant man, please don't address me again.

Lots of fairly transparent hating on Bakole.
He's still on a great streak of wins far better than most 'contenders'

Thanks for that Billy, nice to have your input, may I ask?billy nelson wrote: ↑05 Mar 2023, 05:31 granted he’s not top level but he is an undefeated Olympian who has boxed many many top names in the amateurs, no fool by an imagination
Is the fight actually on (Martin has since deleted the Tweet) ?
Is this the 'big fight' you mentioned previously or only a 'tune up' as the odious Keith asserts?
