Even Matchroom’s Frank Smith believes that AJ wasn’t prepared for that fight. The Joshua fanboys on here believe that flying to Milan for a Fashion show and not training is ideal preparation.
Maybe Anthony Joshua should Anthony Joshua? Then he could Anthony Joshua, followed by Anthony Joshua. Only then will Anthony Joshua Anthony Joshua then Anthony Joshua. Anthony Joshua? Anthony Joshua Anthony Joshua Anthony Joshua.

Eddie as well said Joshua would've been better to fight someone else but that AJ wanted it so they tried to make it

George Warren said they hadn't returned his calls. This was during Benn v Eubank fight week. Do you really think they were trying with what we now know what was going on simultaneously?

All will be revealed in the episode of Fury's Netflix series entitled 'The Bodybuilder'.

Shame he's now so shy of social media, no comeback videos to Usyk

Just watched a couple of interviews with Johnny Nelson. He said he wouldn't be disappointed not to see Fury vs Uysk as he has come to expect Fury not taking on the best.

In another interview, he describes Fury as the boy who cried wolf.

And looking at the comments on all the YouTube videos, it would seem that 95% of the people commenting have come to understand that Fury is a bit of a ducker.

You'd have to say that Joshua has shown more courage in his career than Fury. He might have 3 defeats to Fury's 1 defeat (at the hands of John Mcdermott), but he is definitely the braver of the two.

For example, Miller is out, in comes Ruiz

Fury bolts it and fights Wilder for a third time, in comes Uysk. And he went in with Ruiz and Uysk straight away afterwards. Joshua can be proud of the mettle he has shown.

Mike Tyson Advises Usyk To Stand His Ground With Fury, Not Run Around

"[Usyk] can’t run forever. Tyson’s going to get him in the corner, he’s going to get him with some punches, and he’s going to hurt him eventually," Tyson told iD Boxing.

"He’s going to run all night. He has to stay and fight to win the fight. At some particular time, he’s going to have to stand and fight.

"He can’t run and box all night – they’re not gonna give him the decision, now with Tyson. They want to see some fighting. After watching him and Deontay Wilder in a fight, they ain’t going to go for no running and hitting."

"Tyson Fury is going to win, and I think Tyson should fight more. They take too much time in between fights," Tyson said.

"I fought 15 times in one year. I’m a strong believer of four or five times a year; they should fight."

I think that is an excellent summing up by Mike Tyson*.

It's really frustrating, as I do think Tyson Fury is a serious talent and, away from his alter ego, he comes over as a decent guy. I just don't get the shenanigans and lack of desire to test himself.

*Incidentally, Mike Tyson, is usually bang on the money with his fight predictions. Always worth getting his view on a fight; he reads the game so well and gives honest opinions.

Lennox, you seem to be taking the Eddie Hearn approach of continually repeating something until it becomes true….
Let’s just wait and see.

He got interviewed plenty of times during the latest two weeks and never mentioned Usyk. Usually before fights it's difficult to shut him up, but now he seems to be silent like a fish. Tyson, what's happened?

I might be getting this wrong, but didn't Fury say that Usyk was a different era to him?

One can surmise that he wants no part of Uysk. I listened to Simon Jordan and Spencer Oliver earlier. They were debating who would win out of Lennox Lewis and Tyson Fury.

Really its an academic exercise because not only are they from different eras, can anyone imagine Fury agreeing terms with Lennox, if he can't agree terms with Uysk or Joshua?

Genuine question, if the Uysk fight is not made will you not question, even a little bit, whether Fury might be even a tiny bit to blame for the big fights with his top competitors, not happening? I do admire your optimism, though.

I wish I had the same amount of optimism for boxing, which seems to be pushed to one side by the YouTube/freakshow fights.

I don't ever recall mickey claiming to be a traveller. In fact, he freely admitted he wasn't in a recent thread.

A couple of days ago you were defending Billy Nelson, now Mickey, both are more than capable of speaking up for themselves (and in the unlikely event they did need support it's unlikely they would see it from you)

So it seems I clearly misread the previous post (I'm also simultaneously posting on another forum) and debating over on Off Topic.

But exactly who appointed you as public defender?

Lennox was light years ahead of any of the current HW, in the top 5 all time, Fury can't get in the top 20 surely? He's had a few title defenses against 3 opponents. Lennox fought absolutely every top guy in his era too, apart from Bowe who wanted nothing to do with him.
