Should Takam beat Yoka, as it looks like he's doing as I type this, that makes our rankings look a bit of a mess. Bakole's win would look worse while Makhmudov's would look much better in comparison. Yet we can't change the rankings for them until they fight next.

takam bossed yoka, split was hugely generous to tony but at least we got the right winner

Think I'd have the rankings something like this now personally because Bakole's big win has been exposed:
9) Sanchez
10) Ajagba
11) Makhmudov
12) Chisora
13) Demirezen
14) Hrgovic
15) Bakole

Although I admit Bakole’s win has less shine, he was voted in at #9.

I was thinking of doing a #10-#15 change.

But surely we shouldn’t move Bakole down because of this?

The bottom 5 have always been hard to sort.

I’m a bit stuck.

Wouldn’t seem fair to do a vote on Bakole because we voted him there at the time and it was a good loss.

I guess we see where Bakole goes from here realistically.

Big Mak's win is looking much better now. He completely dominated Takam and knocked him down twice. Meanwhile Yoka loses 10-0 or 9-1 to Takam...

Those cards were a disgrace.

Ofc not, but maybe because of inactivity? In may it will be a year since the Yoka fight. Hope he gets a fight soon, otherwise....

yoka looked mentally poor in there, weary of punches after bakole beat him, so i dont look at it quite like takam beat the same yoka bakole did............but it defo does make mak look better, as it shows takam is still capable of good wins and that mak didnt just beat a shot ex contender. i only gave yoka 2 rounds. i would add that even in his prior loss to joyce, takam still looked very capable and was ahead when it was stopped in the 6th. he can mix it competitively at a good level and people shouldnt just discredit wins over him due to his age

the activity for me is more of a concern with bakole, 10 months inactive and nothing scheduled. fights keep being rumored for him yet then never happen. i have no confidence his opponent will be anyone worthwhile when he finally does land his next fight too. i would give him some more time before moving him much but he's starting to get on the verge of demotion

The Old Takam gave the rotten Big Mak a slap, now he slaps the loser Yoka, who looks like a feeble rangy cruiserweight against the decent heavies. The 15th gate is under a guard of the Old Tough Takam. :box:

I guess people can make a decision on Bakole if he fights Shevadzutskyi soon otherwise it could end up being 12 months since he beat Yoka. There is a lot of inactivity against top opponents from 9-15 so others might want to drop those guys aswell.

- Bakole's last win was Yoka in May 2022.
- Ortiz lost to Ruiz in Sep 2022 but last won against Martin in Jan 2022.
- Pulev lost to Chisora in July 2022 but last win came against Forrest in May 2022. I think the biggest issue with Pulev is that he's still ranked above Chisora.
