Mmmm... April 29 has been the proposed date for months but Fury hasn't been in training? Sounds like someone has backed themselves into a corner that even their waffling can get them out of, better get s move on son

Hopefully but he did look pretty big and was breathing quite heavily but suppose he could be wearing a big coat and miles deep into a run

Regardless of who you want to win as long as there's no excuses from either man

Haha whinging about a drug cheat getting accused of juicing before accusing the other guy who's never popped dirty of taking PEDs

If Fury wasn't from Traveller stock I'd imagine he'd get next to zero backing on here, my Mrs comes from travelling stock and still has family who live that life and I've got good mates including one of my closest friends who comes from that stock also but I could never imagine deep throating him because of his heritage

It's all a bit strange, Im not exaggerating when I say I've heard people here mention gypsys a lot more than my Mrs has in the 17 years we've been together

I bet if Jimmy Saville was a gypsy he'd have his defenders on here
It is generally Fury Haters who mention his background. It is almost treated as a crime to like a gypsy boxer. I have it thrown at me much more than i bring it up. Several times daily. Nobody has pulled me up for saying I like Dan Azeez.
Fury's whole gimmick is the fact that he's a gypsy, his moniker is the Gypsy King, never stops going about being a fighting man not interested in fame or money despite the truth being the opposite, don't be surprised when people use it a weapon to beat him with

Between the countless books he's released to the fly on the wall documentaries, he seems to be on GMB every other week whereas the fabricated brand Joshua barely tweets or does interviews ever, only occasionial cringey Facebook style inspirational quotes on Twitter/Instagram and obviously his endorsements

No doubt Joshua has been carefully constructed but if you think he's more fake than the walking lying contradictory Gypsy King then you need your head examined

If I was in the 5% of the argument with Henry, WhiskeyG and Doofus on my side I'd be seriously considering my stance
AJ is in a position commercially where he doesn't have to do these things. Everything is in place. There is a large cardboard cut out of him in my fitness gym next to the lucozade sport machine. He is all over JD and Under Armour stores and adverts and Lynx, etc. That brand is built. Very impressively i might add.

So what it's a 70/30 split, that will matter little when Usyk takes the crown. The People's Champ and the undisputed, unified Heavyweight World Champion!
From 50% to 30% in a couple of days is a clear sign of domination for the Forum Knitting Circle

It wasn’t too impressive when his sponsors stopped him boxing Fury on 3 December.

I think Usyk is a big hit with casuals in the UK.

Although they might have preferred or backed AJ, Usyk gets a lot of props and respect.

It will boil down to who wants to pay. The touts will be all over this. It will be very difficult to get tickets.

All you and WhiskeyG bang on about are Joshua's tickets sales for Franklin, what's relevance does that have to Fury trying to worm out of the Usyk fight?

You must be a Fury, either that or your one of those gullible idiots who fell for fighting man, mental health advocate schtick

Either way seeing the Fury fanbase on here dwindle to 3 is fkn glorious

Hopefully the fight gets made and Fury gets his cycle right then we have a fight
When Fury sells out his next fight maybe you will realize that the knitting circle on here is not representative of the real world.
Doof I couldn't care less if Fury, Usyk or even Joshua for that matter sold out planet earth 10 times over, I'm a boxing fan in the sense that I give props to the fights, I'll let the WWE fans like yourself get wet about ticket sells
I was responding to a post claiming that Fury’s fan base had deserted him en masse by pointing out it will be proved wrong when tickets come on sale.

Or has Fury called Usyk’s bluff and secured an extra 20% of the purse?
I think it’s quite clear who’s called who’s bluff.
The learned people on this forum were urging Fury to sign for 50/50. How much extra money could he earn from ignoring the Forum “experts”?
That's if he does fight

All a bit coincidental he had his chef join him in Saudi (no way did he go for one week of Tommy) and Sugar Hill is back in town this week with The Sauce.

The guy was living it up in Saudi the other week for a fair few days with just 8 weeks til fight time. Not sure how that compares against 1 night at a fashion show at 10 weeks notice, but glad to see he's now putting in the work and it's serious stuff from now on.
Also back on social media again by the looks of it. Usyk's got him rattled here. :box:

Frightened Fury is gonna chicken out. I won't believe this is taking place until they're in the ring.

I like Fury, but he has a track record of ducking. First Price, then he ducked that big Russian bloke the night before after the Russian took his shirt off and revealed he was massive and Paris started flicking her bean.

You clearly haven't been paying attention if you think it's just been over a few days. Have you been hiding in a cave in shame the last few months whilst Fury went into hiding himself? Did AJ take you hostage?
Anyway, this one's all about history being made and it's been clear all along which fighter wants it for that side of it, and which person wants it for the money side of it.

HomicideHenry wrote: 11 Mar 2023, 05:05 Noted.... the Fury haters are mad dropping the PED excuse already because if Fury beats Usyk they'll still not accept Fury as the best heavyweight in the world.

Nevermind the fact Usyk's manager has said Usyk has been training since December and potentially could have gone through cycles himself before the fight was made officially. But noooooo Usyk couldn't possibly do that because he's a good boy.

Odd, since Usyk has claimed he's bulking up to face Fury. But that all must be natural, right? Anyways, let the record show the excuses are already being made for Usyk's defeat. Keep watch on the voting percentages on this thread they'll magically shift Fury's way come fight night.

Pure ducker. You can tell he is livid that Usyk has accepted and now backed him into a corner. I expect a few weeks before the fight he'll get an "injury" or his Uncle's, best friend's, cousin's mum will have her caravan burnt down by Brick Top and he'll pull out.
That's where I was. The klit and wilder fights earned a lot of respect from me but it's all been squandered in recent times. I'm sure he's bothered by what I think though 🤣

Why?

All of us want the fight to happen.

Most of us believed it could.

The majority of us recognise Fury as the best HW in the world until proven otherwise.

All we have done is call out the constant BS that the walking contradiction that is Tyson Fury comes out with - and looked at things in a balanced fashion.

You are one of many though. It's not just on here, as some would love to believe. Other boxing forums, other social media outlets, there appears to be many who were previously big Fury fans, but have now turned against him. I'm sure he'll win a fair few back now he's finally been backed into a corner and the fight's been agreed, and now being back posting his own videos. Overall though, there's been a huge switch.

Only 2 days ago you said it would never happen but you’re still here spouting off. History shows that Joshua never went near the WBC champions.
